@@bluesky-ud9wg Murillo seems like a cool dude, but this has really been going on for a long time. They’re use to be sub 9 second cars running on the streets of San Antonio/Austin back in the 70s dude.
@@rickyjaimes2942 Sure as people use to run carbs also not EFI. I'm not going to get into this with you because I can already tell that you're one of those guys that think 2 4 barrels on top of a big blower actually are quick...
Why would Pat have hard feelings? He said it but again he is the one who protested them and never did really answer the question. I suppose that is who he is as a weakened old man.
Pat just needs to keep his trap shut. He wanted to distance himself from the deal after he forced Lizzy to keep the protest going when it was Kye that started it then retracted it. He didn’t even know the rules because he was too dumb to even know his team had violated them too but still pressed it to get two guys DQed at the bottom of the rankings. That whole ordeal made Nola look like a bunch of tit bags.
Mr Pat lol bird shit 😂 love it MS Lizzy runs his own dad's motors and keeps them going and he knows just as much about the hot rods so he can be in the driver's meetings just like anyone else for that matter.....
Soooo, what you are saying handicap bracket racing, etc. Is irrelevant? What I get is run what you brung-bring? In thar case everyone would race Top Fuel cars with no weight limits, blower restrictions , unlimited cubic inch, etc.? Or what about Nascar, or the NHRA Prostock motorcycles Vtwins vs 2 or 4 valve Japanese bikes? C'mon man🤔
@@GidDree I think the point he was making is that without a serious handicap those cars wouldn't be able to hang. Inferior technology that only stays relevant if you give them a huge weight advantage. Nobody is suggesting no rules run what you brung, but having one set of rules that applies to every single car would certainly eliminate Nitrous cars from even being able to compete at this level. If every car had to weigh a minimum of 3000 pounds the nitrous teams would struggle to ever win a race. Pat Musi would be as irrelevant as his motors are overnight, which I don't see as a bad thing. If your engines can't produce the same results as what you're trying to compete against then it's time to improve your technology.
@@TheFlooringInspector82 yes weight is used for parity. I agree you can't really run a 3000hp car with a 5000hp car at the same weight. However if you ran a class according to horsepower and weight meaning every car had to be 3000lbs and 3000hp there would be cars that would be in trouble as well. Turbo cars didn't have a boost rule that I saw. Screwblowers had a 98 percent overdrive rule. Weight split wasn't super crazy.
In the drag racing world he’s well known but ya he definitely comes off as an arrogant asshole who think he’s better then everyone else why I like them calling him out for his bullshit
This BS right here is why I haven't watched any Street Outlaws in a long time. The amount of Drama(the real and the scripted) that goes on is sad and actually kinda annoying to watch.
He needs the rules committee to help him win by penalizing the pro chargers Kye & Lizzie crying about losing to the pro chargers also. If your program can’t beat another racer’s program go and work a little harder but they took the easy way out crying and complaining it taints any win they my get by changing the rules to benefit Kye and the Musi’s.
Old dog was right. See its their job to notice off the rip and call it when it happens. He just so happen to when it was his turn. Just how the rules are. Sometimes ya gotta play around those little moments for a decent strategy of racing/smarts at the same time.
Pat musi has won more then anyone in NPK!! Also his Motors are still breaking world records!! Hey Pat stepped right the hell up he didn't run and hide he was a man about it he walked right up in the middle and if Pat was younger bird sh*t and Mike would probably be busted up
