Blower overdrive change with with a belt and pulleys isnt 1% per tooth. The change from 92% to 98% isnt 6%. It's 1.98 ÷ 1.92 - 1.031 - 1 = .031 or 3%. Not 6%.
Whenever a new product is introduced, it should be teched, like another said they can keep the same inducer size and increase the exducer and Call it the same. They spec turbos wheels, blower pulleys, need to set procharger wheel size and if a new one is created, suppose to make x more power then add weight before allowing to run.
I like it when it was run what ya brung, if you had a blower so be it, turbo oh well, procharger lets get it, and leave it up to the tunning to see who can put the perfect tune in without over powering the track, its getting to out of hand with the technicalities of it all
This has all turned into a big steaming pile of crap. This has turned into a NASCAR 'let's change the rules every five minutes" scenario in seven years. I watch Scott Taylor's RU-vid and that is it. What a clown show. Pick one engine type. One type of tire. One type of fuel. Realistic body and frame mods. Show up and race and if you dont have enough money to win then go do another type of racing. THE MONEY WINS NINE OUT OF TEN TIMES. Why do you have to drag everybody backwards to accomodate cars that are never going to win crap?
I think that they’re wondering how these new electric waste gates will work. In pro mod they’re flying. I still think turbo needs a break cause they can’t 60’ with blower or even nitrous oxide cars
98% is only a couple pounds of boost. Screws still aren't gonna beat pro chargers. 140 is same weight and 136 got 50lbs added. Don't know which pro charger is gonna be fast this year
Adding 50 pounds to the 136 is crazy. Ryan beat Kye by inches with the 136 and now you add 50 more pounds. Ryan would now lose by maybe a quarter of a car.
@Brandon02493 don't forget they added 98 overdrive this year for the screw. Last year it was 92 overdrive. The screw combo stays the same weight. The screw got faster with no weight added.
Whatever car you start a race with you have to finish with , depending on track and conditions he will decide whether to run the red or grey car. With these rules I think you will see more of the red car .
@@NoypiWatch Ryan's video and learn something before you make a comment. He will run the best car he thinks will do better depending on track and weather conditions. He will probably take both cars with him to the track
Great Video! Appreciate it but, here we go with the F4-136 controversy. Ryan just told us in his latest video how he had it wicked up and highest compression settings maxed out his words and he still couldn't get around Kye. With the tires they're staying with the 34 or going back to the 36 if the drivers want to?
He ran the 140-1 in the Fireball Camaro when he raced Kye at Bandimere last season. The gray car was getting fixed at that time. The Screw Blower runs better at high altitude, and at the lower elevation tracks Ryan destroyed Kye Several times running the F4-136 in the gray car.
