The video was filmed on December 31st, last day of 2015!! Happy New Year everyone :)
This is my first POV video. I was on my way to get diapers for my son, half of the shots were done with only 1 hand holding the camera (the other holding the diaper box ^^), please excuse the shaky video, I promise next time I will hold the camera with both hand :P.
Since I only can shoot with 1 hand, I can't really manual focus. So I can either use auto focus or something with a depth of field that no longer requires focusing. I decided to test out the Voigtlander 15mm f4.5 super wide heliar III. I bought this lens for landscape & architect photography, but I thought I would give it a try on the street this time.
The lens is super wide, which means I need to get very very close the to subject in order to get what I usually get with a 35mm & 50mm. But on the plus side, because the lens is so wide, I am able get everything in focus from 0.5m - infinity with a f8 aperture! With this setting I no longer need to focus before I shoot, and this really become a point & shoot!
The camera I paired with the lens is the Sony A7Sii, it only has 12mp so I have very little room to crop my shots, but the high iso performance allows me to obtain a good shutter speed (250-500) while having the aperture set at f8.
