If you’re gonna have a high horsepower car especially one with nitrous you should have a fire extinguisher. Just about any vehicle should have one.

@@robertbalcezak1636 idk why you think that I think it is. Nitrous alone isn’t a issue. But nitrous back fires happen more often then most other types of fires in high horsepower vehicles.

@@mrfkyobitch6282 sure you could have a great tune that is reserved and safe. But how often is that the case? It’s easy to push a bit too much timing or even have a nitrous solenoid go back or a issue with a progressive controller to mess up. Shit happens but why would you risk it for a cheap $50 or less fire extinguisher in a super expensive car or build.

That viper didn’t spray till the second run. That’s why there were no flames on deceleration on run one. It was noticeably faster also.

Viper sounded like it was breaking up to me. Small sparks were coming out the exhaust too... maybe spark plug straps or maybe just blowing deposits out of the exhaust but it didn’t seem healthy to me

The 32 valve double over head cam 4.6 was introduced in 1993 (similar to a 5 liter) 5.7L single cam 16 valve Ls series was introduced 1997 in the corvette. I think both car makers have similar time to improvise their engines.
