I’m relatively new and scrapping is scrapping. It’s all about getting it out of the waste streams. Whether it’s metals, glass or plastic it’s all recyclable if it’s not reusable.
Newish to the channel. I like to pop the lid off for more wire and the aluminum burner and some dirty aluminum then pull the back off for a piece of clean shred plus more wire.
I get it, going for more of what's inside. With the scrap yard so close to this area, I've learned my time is better spent just tipping them off and getting back to the PC's waiting for me.
we always remember that street scrapping was where your scrap business journey started see picked up some interesting things old cooker day *🥸full view always😎Au💯👍thumbs up👍*
Its good to see another street scrapping video. I feel ya going after those gas ovens they are not light and they love to dance in the back of the truck....😂
Nice load! I actually liked that big standard lamp. I hate it when people speed in my neighbourhood, I've been known to inform people they are going too fast 😂😬
Not bad, not bad at all.👍 Unrelated topic: I ended up getting a 2023 Toyota Tacoma I mentioned previously😃I really like it compared to my old Silverado, which I will still keep for my kids to drive and for scrapping!
Maybe an hour? hour and half tops. I can tell you without hesitation that you'll make more over the long run working at any minimum wage job than doing this. You also have to factor in fuel cost, wear on your vehicle and the time to/from the scrapyard. I do this as an adjunct to my electronic scrap business because it's fun exercise and make for good videos to share. But I don't recommend this as a full time gig.
HMS = Heavy Melt Steel or Heavy Melting Scrap. This is generally thicker higher grades of steel. HMS 2 may contain galvanized and blackened steel. HMS 1 does not. HMS 1 is wrought iron or steel scrap 1/4" or thicker. HMS 2 is 1/8" or more thick and may contain galvanized and blackened.
