Streex was voiced by future Broadway star, Andrew Rannells. I knew he did dubbed anime for 4Kids in the early 2000's, but Street Sharks? Wow.

26:48 The Ninja Turtles also had a time-travelling shark mutant first (Armaggon, from the Archie Comics). Also, there was a _Street Sharks_ comic from Archie. I don't know what the reasoning was for it - _TMNT Adventures_ wound down in '96, but aside from _TMNT_ and _Sonic,_ Archie had a knack for licensed properties that never went anywhere.

Extreme Dinosaurs had a boss theme tune

I never got into 'Street Sharks', and this review pretty much explains why. It's not as creative, or endearing as 'Ninja Turtles'. Which also explains why they never got their own movies, video games, or any reboots. They had a toy line promoted by VIN DEISEL of all people, but that's about it.

Who's here after Mattel announced that Street Sharks are coming back? Also, Discotek Media released a standard definition Blu-Ray of this series. Standard definition Blu-Rays are when they don't have HD masters for a show, but can still take advantage of being on Blu-Ray, such as higher resolution than DVD and a higher storage capacity, meaning they can put more episodes on a disc without a loss in quality. For example, Discotek crammed all 40 episodes of Street Sharks on one disc, which may sound like it's a bootleg, but it's not.

Clipshow is still alive yay ! :) And as a proud Rokea...i am devastated..

This was a really cool concept even though I was born much later I watched the entire thing. I would have to say it was good up to the point where they implemented the extreme dinosaurs. overall the concept is cool and can help you make the concept of of humans getting the traits of animals. Not like the teenage mutant Ninja turtles gaining the humanoid form.

Well I can’t wait to do a Patreon request coming down the pipeline. The only clip that I’ve seen of Street Sharks was from the incredible clips of Vin Diesel. Never would I thought I would un-ironically watch any other clips of this “show”.

Everytime a cartoon take a shot at tmnt it gets beyond cringe, real Ghostbusters tried it. And thats why it doesnt exist past season 2 lol

Street Shark is a great but I wished the writer and producer have improve the series before it's ended forever as there a lot of unanswer question about the characters appear in Street Shark like : 1.They father Dr. Robert Bolton during the series the Bolton brother never found their father or reunion in the series, also the viewers like me never got to see what Dr. Robert Bolton really looked like as mutant monster all we got was seeing him in a shadow. 2. Lena is a female allied to the Street Shark beside Ben and even though she appeared mostly in the first season but she only appear in two episodes in the second season which doesn't make sense or why she was drawn out of the series like if she's not a popular character at all. 3. I would liked to know what has happened to Slobster and Slash since they were never seen again after Season 1 and what happened to Killamari and Repteel before the appearence of Dino Venger appear because the writers of the the street shark series doesn't haven't been making sense at all. 4.I still wished Moby Lick, Mantaman and El Swordo appear together in a team up with the Street Sharks and the Dino Venger in the final episodes before the series end.

I had the toys for this show. If i remember right, taco bell sold the toys back qhen they had kids meals with toys.

I've only seen a couple of episodes of this show, and it didn't leave much of an impression on me. Heck, I remember watching its spinoff "Extreme Dinosaurs" more often, though I doubt that show held up well. But I gotta admit, I can't help but love the EXTREME!!! look of the sharks and villains. They're just so bizarre and over-the-top that I can't help but admire how ludicrous they are. The manta ray's design is pretty stupid, though. He looks like one of the sharks trying to cosplay as Arthur from "The Tick."

Hey man, so...I got review request for ya if you want. Though I will admit it's bit on the girly side of things. But if that doesn't bother you, the girl show request is Princess Gwenevere & the Jewel Riders. You can even find all their episodes on their offical youtube page. The Jewel Riders Archive. Why? Why not! It was in the 90s and I think it was one of those western shows that actually tried to compete with Sailor Moon. Had a few similar visual tricks and transitions I think too.

1992's Stone Protectors or 1996's Street Sharks. I can't really recall or decide which one is more PATHETIC. I watched maybe one episode of each piece of Commercialized Crass Shit, and never watched either show again. SPs was pitiful even to me as a nine year old, and I FONDLY remember Street Sharks, as it aired during my 8th Grade year. I hated it, and knew how totally OUT of DATE it was, even for 1996 Standards.

Honestly, the Street Sharks used to scare me when I was little (I was 3 or 4 years old when they came out). It's those big heads that make up half of their bodies & those grins with big sharp teeth that give me the creeps.😖 Also, if those ladies that are swooning over the Sharks are suppose to be parodies of TMNT fangirls.....yeah, next to the Sharks hating pizza, this is also the most outrageous & ridiculous thing the show has put in. As a woman of culture, I seriously doubt anyone who be attracted to the Sharks (nor any of the henchmen for that matter). 😕
