Jay ATM I don't know his name, but he's one of my favorite announcers because Hes clear, his energy is real, and his voice just too perfect when he goes into the countdown!!
1:16 This, ESPECIALLY the jump-rope part is *extremely* difficult, and I keep coming back because of how SICKENING it is. It truly had me gagged and gooped.
For all you newbies, Vogue Femme is not all about the dip, is how you start and how you hold the pose, if you watch, Inxi did it better than Kiyana, i have to add, Kiyana used every dance trick she had, for a semifinal in a final, Lasseindra should fucked it up.
+Azalea Punch right? just because didn't do a "in the air dip" doesn't mean she didn't fuck it up still. inxi was so diverse and inxi was way more elegant and on beat
+Maurii DS Ah, I like Inxi, but...eh, it'll take a while before I can believe she'll "own" Sailor Moon. Usagi is literally a goddess - it's hard to live up to that.
I've seen from previous videos that they tape the fuck out of their ankles and thighs to keep everything in place. You can see it in Inxi's and Lasseindra's 2013 battle especially on Inkis legs.
Inxi you can clearly see she’s had classical dance training outside of the vogue genre. Kyana is all over the place, and is just trying to do poorly executed trick after trick rather than listening to the beat and giving us light and shade to the movement. Inxi is just streets ahead, and it goes to show that the more you expand and diversify your dance training and knowledge, the better all of those disciplines become.
Exactly! There are a lot of vogue dancers who bring the right energy but can’t back it up with the sharpness and discipline that you learn with classical dance training. In my opinion, classical training is vital to learn before trying virtually any dance style.
I noticed she using more technique and less power than years past. I don't get what all the hate is about tbh. The other girl was fierce but I just didn't like her movements as much, some parts looked like a drunk girl in the club lol. But that's just me, both of them did well ^^
Inxi definitely improved her voguing skills from when I first saw her perform in 2013. I feel like she definitely deserved the win but Kiyana truly did great.
Kiyana deserved to loose though. Not because she wasn't good, but because in her trying to pull off that glitter stunt, she didn't do her final pose until the beat AFTER she was told to hold her pose. Trying to be too fabulous and falling flat on your face.
She purposely slipped before her vogue drops. And yes, she struck her pose too late - but she's still good in spite of her trying to kick Inxi's head off her neck. Try to be too fancy and too posh - look where that gets you, Kiyana. Just look where that gets you.
I've only just come across this after watching the Sailor Moon/Wonder Woman vogue battle on an Animé fan page. Kiyana seemed so messy, and the glitter stunt threw her off time badly. Inxi Prodigy was a lot cleaner and fluid in her movement.
MUCH LOVE TO BOTH LADIES BUT lol im laughing at 2:57 when KIYANA WENT FOR THAT DEATH DROP AND INSTEAD IT WAS MORE LIKE DEATH, .AND THAT WAS WHEN THE TITLE FOR 2015 WAS DECIDED, IN MY OPINION . INXI WAS CONSISTENT WITH EVERY MOVE(NO FLAWS)
inxi had a better solo. though i thought kiyana dod better in the first battle, i think inxi won because she was more interesting and organized in the second battle, plus kiyana didn't hold her pose on the right time because of the glitter
To me, there was too much nervousness in Kiyana that help her back. She thought she needed to pull everything she had our against famed Inxi. She tried to steal attention with quick moves, whereas Inxi knew how to hold poses and work the beat.
I just want to see more originality from the children. Their vogue was definitely clean but using someone else's signature moves is not giving me my life.
I would never be able to dance like these both girls, Inxi is my favourite, it really cheers me up watching this videos haha I am happy for those girls
