Vogue femme semifinal battle winner is Lasseindra at Streetstar Festival in Stockholm Sweden ( april 2015). Host: Dashaun Levin (US) Dj: Vjuan Allure (US) www.streetstar.se
Bitches , vogue is about elements 5 elements called, catwalk, duckwalk, dip, floor performance and hand performance, and CLEARLY you can see how Veronika gave 4 elements but Lasseindra 3, its was so shady, im glad Leiomy saw Veronika voguing instead of Lasseindra stunts-
+Azalea Punch Shade. Veronika won. Elements Yes girl, Lasseindra was good but MESSY and i don't mean style wise. She missed pieces and elements flew out the window, she was so all over the place and because she has a name now, I think some of the judges missed it. She isn't groundbreaking, she is over the top, and unfortunately the kids nowadays "think" that's what makes a battle....not always. Leiomy was correct.
True but if you can pull the amount of fierceness that Lissandra did, it made up for it. She pulled the crowd more and she went ham when it was just her
Veronika slayed this hands down. I've never understood the hype about Lasseindra. She's always all over the place, spazzing out and pulling out messy stunts. She may be high energy, but she doesn't have control.
@@ExclusiveV yes, it is. But it also depends on how she puts on a show. Her style of performing is rather desperate therefore coming off cheap. But I guess at least her voguing style matches her outfit.
Smh Im bummed that Lasseindra won this tbh, she's cool but this is vogue femme not vogue dramatics Veronica was so soft and I loved her 1st and 2nd performance and it would've been soooo cool to see Veronika vs Inxi!!!
@@will-qb1sw Still pretty unfair tho. I love Lasseindra, but Veronika really should have won this. Tho it was nice to see a Lasseindra VS INXI rematch in the finals.
I DON'T CARE WHAT ANYONE SAYS! VERONIKA SLAYED THE BATTLE WITH HER ELEGANT FAERIE CUNT REALNESS! LASSEINDRA had some good drops here and there, but she was overall messy and erratic which just comes off as sloppy and not fierce. Veronikka could have hit the beat harder or with more care, but overall her moves, style, and fierceness shines even through Miss L's unrefined--yet somehow popular--antics! Bravo VERONIKA!
Yes, Veronika was SAWFT, but Lasseindra was an irate war deity ready to destroy every civilization on earth with the shockwaves of her body hitting the goddamn floor. Clearly Lasseindra had the more impactful solo. BUT Veronika was way more dynamic in the battle, hands down. I mean, c'mon, the lifted leg spin into the dip was straight out of a circa 2005 Japanese arcade fighting game where you hit ← ↑ B + R2 to make the vampire stripper character perform her finishing move. I think the battle could have gone either way, but let's not take Lasseindra's dips for granted. Set the doomsday clock to 1 minute to midnight because those dips are nuclear.
I preferred Veronika's performance here, but I can see why Laissandra won. Bitch has incredible stage presence, and her "punching" move at Veronika was a gag. It was borderline butch, but entertaining. As for Veronika, I think we can expect more greatness from her to come.
So judges are only considering the death drops to choise the winner? the only thing lasseindra did good were the death drops, all else was just a complete Mess, Veronika vogue was flawless and fierce but authentic and so agi lol she is like a feather, her death drops in the battle were absolutely amazing with that leg all over the top ending in the floor 2 times, she did it 100% better
Kevin Lopez no need to be an ass. i loved how lesseindra spun while she dropped and her energy. The other one was super flowey and delicate and i loved that too
@@ahahaagoodmorning4308 agreed. lasseindra had a lot of energy and was very entertaining which is why i think people liked her, veronikas vogue had technique, flow, authenticity and elegance which is also why people were mad that she didnt win
Veronika was so graceful voguing and had control of what she was doing and should've won. I feel like the audience was too attracted to lassiendra bc she did like 500 dips. But the true winner should've been Veronika
Veronika is more new way (she got to the finals) which is a more softer kinda vogue but I suspect the hype for Ninja was mainly the name, House Ninja is mainly hyped more.
no, it's that Veronika wouldn't hit poses on time.... she was off rhythm. I fully agree that she is talented and in concept of "soft" she showed skill but not rhythm. there's plenty of dancers that do "soft" an still hit their poses on time or at least stop when it's expected to versus posing after a call.. that's why i got upset with Veronika because she clearly lifted her leg up in a hold for show value cockily after the call which is rude... either admit that was an amateur move or she didn't play fair knowingly...
I know, veronika gave us everything the hands, the spinning, the death drops, the flexibility, lasseindra the only thing she did good was the death drops besides that she didn't vogue at all, the hands were a mess, the spinning was not good and the flexibility was not there, she gave us nothing but death drops. But she has a lot of energy I’ll give her that!
there are so many factors that affect the judges decission, like for example Lasseindra is the legendary mother lasseindra pioneer of vogue in France, so it's almost impossible she is not in the finals and in case of doubt, judges are gonna vote for her because of who she is. That is actually how it works many times (sadly). It also depends on the mood of the judges, maybe they want show, maybe technique, maybe drama... Being judge is very difficult, yo just not only have to be neutral but also pay attention to both of the contestants and not only to the one you know because is your friend... Imho I would have chosen Veronika just becuase she didn't feel exhausted and kept the sof and cunt fantasy during the whole battle. Bu I love me some Lasseindra, she knows how to give life to the audience, her solo was pure life, energy and drama! :3
Veronika should have won, if not for everything solely for that one leg extension spin. Then perhaps we would have seen Veronika vs Inxi which would have been legend.
Veronika was way better, she should have won this battle, look at her, she is a goddess, Lasseindra was good only in first round, but then it was only a mess
That's like saying people who don't cook can't be critical for food reviews and yet there are food critics??? Also, anyone can comment anything lol stop being a fangirl
I would always choose soft and cunt over dramatic so I might be biased but Veronica could’ve won this. I feel like this was very close. Lasseindra just managed to entertain the crowd a bit more probably... That leg hold into the dip is LEGENDARY... but then again Lasseindra’s solo was REALLY good. If Veronica had won this there is no way Inxi could’ve beaten her in the finals lmao
@@zavs350 I do know the difference between soft and dramatic, but in 2015 year competition she was messy as fuck and looked tired when she was voguing against Inxi. if you look at her in 2013 she had clean, high energy movements and served an entire FUCKING BUFFET. She didn't bring that same level of skill in to the 2015 competition.
I know Veronika is good but Laissandra knows it's a show and she gives you what people want : a show. Voguing is not like just dancing, it's giving the shit out of your life to the crowd and Laissandra knows best !
This doesn't seem to be based on any skill, and I'm not talking about any crazy tricks and flips. Even if these shows were all about posing and performance, Lassandra was just spasming across the floor
VERONIKA SHOULDVE WON! Lasseindra was wearing sneakers and the crowd is more familiar with her. This battle was literally just based on favoritism not fair at all.
I wasn't that big of a fan of Veronika in New Way but this is truly her domain. She's soft cunt but she is also really creative and uses her flexibility to her advantage. She also has amazing control, albeit she could go faster with those death drops. She definitely should've won this round. with that being said, she wouldn't do as well against the likes of Leiomy. Then again, i'd *love* to see that battle :).
at this point you can tell that artistic vogue vs street vogue had a battle. Veronika = Technique, Authenticity, Flexibility, Vogue objectives. Lasseindra = Show, Entertaininment, Pure street vogue improvisation. Prolly won because of judges more into the street voguing that is where this dancing was born. although veronika was just overwhelmingly amazing, i don't think many vogue dancers work their asses to get this level of flexibility... Loved it because it gives another flawless femenine sense in voguing, vogue dancers should learn from her
I think when it came to hyping up the crowd Lasseindra won. However, Veronika's tricks wowed the crowd as well and because she was a little more controlling in her movements I think she should have won overall.
If this was in the states, I think Veronika would've won because she's more versatile. She can give soft and cunt and dramatic; her intro and her battle showed that off well. However, this all was just slanted towards dramatics and Lasseindra is a very strong vogue femme dramatics dancer. So of course, Mother Lasseindra would win out. I'm curious to see, if Veronika kept in her own circle and didn't try to keep up dip to dip with Lasseindra then would Veronika would've won out with soft and cunt? Needless to say, I love Veronika. She got me up and gave me what I needed.
Coming back to this video & it's comments I'm glad to see people recognizing Veronica's performance as great as opposed to whatever Lasseindra was doing lol
If only Lasseindra had saved this energy for INXI. Lasseindra used all her best stunts and energy for someone that lost the moment she stepped on that stage.
Azalea Punch I don't agree. She did to much with the solo round where as Veronika was being pretty passive. I mean Veronika did great but Lasseindra would have beaten her even if she held back. Just my opinion though.
People talk about Veronica lifted her legs and then took a drop but never look at Lasseindra lifted a leg forward which will extend impact when she drops and then she dropped perfectly. Blind eyes just because veronica smoothly performed but Lasseindra was more likely a hype and she's powerful at this moment
I had to really watch it over and over closely. Veronica is wow. She never once wasn’t KILLING it in the last round but i think Lasseindra won because the moment they started, she made her way straight to the middle and remained front and center the entire battle.. that’s the energy you need to be a winner. None of veronicas moves weren’t perfect. I guess Lasseindra knows how to remain center of attention though.
