My hip problems vanished when I built a baseline of strength and flexibility in all 6 possible hip movements All 6 of these movements are in my current weekly routine, split between my two leg days Here’s how I program them: 1. Reverse Squat/Hip Flexor Lift - 4 sets of 20 reps 2. Back Extension - I alternate between single leg and two legs every week. Don’t do single leg if you’re not up to it. 3 sets of 8 reps 3. Abductor Machine - 3 sets of 15 4. Adductor Machine - 3 sets of 15 5. Incline Pigeon Pose - 3 sets of 60 seconds 6. ATG Split Squat - 5 sets of 8-10 reps, including 2 warm up sets
Thats what I’ve been thinking hahaha theres so many fake knees over toes dudes now, but I guess its a good thing, but I think they should give credit where credit is due and that definitely is Ben Patrick the og
It's funny how many try to move in on Charles Poloquin's intellectual property territory now... If you knew as much as needed to be opinionated about these subjects, and you heard Ben Patrick speak, you'd know that he got the bulk of his work from Charles Poloquin. Also, physiotherapy has been applying these approaches for decades.
