Strengths Builds are completely Broken in Elden Ring DLC Shadow of the Erdtree 

Me and my darkmoon greatsword has been having a blast stunlocking everything this DLC A shield + Scholars Shield + Greatshield Talisman is also insane defence

I'm about 3/4 thru on my first pt playing a STR 80 / INT 20 for cold infuse to get the freeze debuff using Vordt's Great Mace for bosses and Black Steel for progression. The ability to cc the enemy while doing dmg is a great combo; BUT there are still several enemies in the DLC that have crazy poise and just either never break or take a really long time to break, even w/ cragblade aow. I haven't had any need to use any of the cheese ash of war, spirit ashes and I've stopped leveling my scadutree lvl at 9 bc I haven't felt the need to go higher. I'm going to experiment a bit on my 2nd pt to do a RL150 w/ a lower level scadutree to up the challenge. I do agree STR builds are very strong but calling them broken is a bit of a stretch. There are other DLC builds that are stronger but it starts leaning more towards cheese. At least w/ a good STR build you feel each swing and timing along w/ stam management; especially w/ bosses.

I’ve been rocking strength from the start. Throughout the whole DLC I used the Bull goat armor and Giant Crusher. Going for stun locks and staggers on enemies and bosses is definitely what got me through.

you might try Godfrey's Icon for Devonia's Hammer since it probably is chargable.

Unsheathed on Nagakiba is devastating. Hyper armor is overrated.

I love str, boss nuking is overrated, area clearing is more important imo. Str does this the easiest by far

no, they are not broken, they just work well like any other build. enough with these clickbaity titles

you are smoking crack, this dlc is anti strength builds, the base game was insanely easy with strength builds, half the bosses barely stagger in the dlc besides rellana and messmer
