Stresa, on Lake Maggiore, is one of the most popular Lake District resorts in northern Italy. With a beautiful lakeside environment, it is the liveliest of the Lake Maggiore towns.
Several lovely Pallazi adorn the town. A colorful "old town" district is fun to explore, and boats of all sorts take visitors on excursions.

If you have never been to Stresa you do t know what you are missing! My favorite place in all of Italy! So peaceful, never big crowds. The people are lovely, the pace is slow. Recharge your body, soul and spirit! We stayed at the Regina Palace and the La Palma hotels. Highly recommend everything about Stresa.

Happened across this video in coronavirus lockdown here in UK. Stayed here on honeymoon in 1996 (Regina Palace). Thank you for your enchanting video of this wonderful place. Maybe there's a chance of us returning for our 25th anniversary in 2021?

I had the privilege of doing coach tours to here from Belfast, staying at the hotel Astoria. It was like my 2nd home during the summer.

Stresa ist ein schöner ORT, war zweimal da im Hotel ROYAL, Ufernahe, sehr empfehlenswert das alte Hotel mit viel Charme aus dem 3o ger Jahren sehr gut da. und dann spazieren an der Uferpromenade, wunderbar . machen sie das mal.
