Alafia (peace) everyone. As always I'll love to thank you all for your love and support and the positive energy you send my way. Please remember my videos and content are NOT for everyone. If what I'm say do not apply to you or your loc journey that's fine but please keep the negative comments to yourselves and allow others to appreciate what I'm trying to do for the loc community, which is educate. Like I always say, "if you don't like my videos or what I'm saying, then don't watch", it's that simple. BIGGGG SHOUT OUT to all my positive Queens and Kings that subscribe to my channel. YOU GUYS ROCK.
My bee pollen and biotin arrived yesterday. Started it this morning. I have sisterlocks... wasn't really doing the most, but was experiencing dryness. Got the vitamin E oil and added it to my rose water... LISTEN. crispiness is GONE!!! Hair is moisturized!!! So I can only imagine what adding the bee pollen and biotin to my life will do... I work in healthcare and learned to not take on people's problems, separate yourself from those that bring their negativity to you-- their energy is DRAINING... and it WILL affect you in more ways than you think. It's ok to be selfish and say NO!!! Yannie is the damn truth. I thank GOD for allowing this queen to share her gifts with others. God bless you Yannie. Continued prosperity to you.
@@tboss-r9s... during my retightening today, my consultant commented today on how my grid is thickening up. I didnt say a word as to how I got it to do what it was doing... kept my secret to myself cuz I didnt want to hear the negativity at all. But she said she noticed that my scalp looked like it was healing and that hair was filling in. So I'm gonna keep it up... I want to space out my reties just to give my new growth time to strengthen. But so far... so good. Yannie knows her shit... periodt!!!!!!
This was right on time..I'm experiencing thinning in the top of my locs. I'm going to try biotin and reduce stress which is anxiety for me. I'm going to wrap my hair up and I'm going to stop washing it every two weeks. I'm just going to leave it ALONE! Thanks Yannie. I'm going to take your advice.
Thanks for this video Yannie very good and useful. I suffered with thinning at one time during my Loc Journey after stress kicked in. I went a whole year without retwisting my Locs and it was the best thing I ever did my hair actually grew back I wore my hair in curly styles mostly or loose updos . I also drink lots of water, work out and try to eat healthily 80% of the time. I’m going to check out the bee 🐝 pollen as I’ve heard good stuff about it. I’ve also heard of biotin but never taken it but will look 👀 into that also. I’m taking the vitamin D that you mentioned in a previous video and so far so good 👍🏾 I feel great. I’m always conscious of different energies around me and I’ve been doing my own Locs for the past 18 years. I mind my Business and stay away from drama 🙅🏾♀️😆 . Stay blessed and thank you for educating us. 💖👍🏾😊🙏🏾
Education, knowledge, Spiritual Growth..I decided to loc my hair two years ago..I realized I had a no clue..At 52,my hair is florishing, exercising daily, more water, meditation, and less stress..Working on Balancing my diet..This disrespectful hair is The Best...Love this fuzzy Beautiful hair..Went to the dermatologist, she said your skin is beautiful, just working out the hyperpigmentation ..Got a great report from my Doctor as well... Bless up Yannie, You are such a Blessing
Your skin looks sooooo good! Thank you for shedding light on mental health. You are on my vision board, one day my locs will be blessed by you and Uncle(King) Jimmy. Positive vibes from 🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
You are so right about vitamins and minerals. Never tried bee pollen bit I may try it. A naturapath told me that your body pulls more nutrients from your system when under prolonged stress. Also, stress hormones can make hair dry and brittle . They advised me to take things that support the nerves and calm the system like b complex, selenium, folates( iron), vitamin D and calcium/ magnesium. And also drinking lots of water and getting rest. It really worked. And my hair has grown back.
I am so happy that Yanni decided to make this video. Had 15 years worth of healthy, strong locs that i enjoyed immensely. I never really took it seriously when i heard someone say that stress was taking their hair out. Then my dear, sweet mother developed dementia and lost most of the use of her legs. I became a full time caregiver by night and full-time elementary teacher in a very demanding school district by day for about 4 years. NOW i really, REALLY know what those poor folks were talking about when they said that stress was taking their hair out! I decided to cut my locs because despite being a semi-free form who did not retwist, the scalp at the top of my head was growing more and more visible and i knew there was nothing i could do about it. Mama passed almost 7 months ago, and i often consider the idea of starting to loc again but i have a fear that that spot will still be there even tho it SEEMS like my hair is full. Has anyone here ever exprienced a full loc revival after losing hair from long term stress?
K. Woods I am in a similar position with my locs. I am ready to cut my locs off after 7 years of beautiful locs. I have thinning and a few bald spots. I will rest my scalp, health and wellness conscious, and drink plenty of water. I will meditate for the right time to begin them again. All the best wishes for you too.
Yannie thank you for this information. I went to my Loctician and the minute she saw my hair she noticed I’ve been stressing. I was shocked she was able to tell. And the reason you provided are so accurate! My environment and people’s dark energy is really affecting my hair. My diet isn’t the problem because I’m plant based. I hope these product will help my hair.
Since I've become a new subscriber, I have been educated about my locs & its spiritual link to myself. Following how to properly of care to my locs. Thank u, Yanni.❤
You are truly amazing and I love your energy. Thank you so much for a lot of the inside that you provide us with. I do take the information that you provide us with and do my research and follow up behind it and I do enjoy all of your videos and everything that you're teaching us. You are truly an amazing woman be blessed
I recently cut my lock because of stress. My hairdresser is the one who notified me of my stress spot in my hair. My hair would break and grow and after an immense period of stress it looked like I was going bald. I decided to do a stress cut and focus on my health.
Yannie bless you. On time and on point for me right now. Resting my locs for 4 months now and have just started taking the bee pollen, biotin arriving today. Blessed 🙏🏾
I literally never had hair thinning EVER until I had one particular woman do my hair.. do not let just anyone touch your crown. Listen to this woman of God
Thank you Yannie for this valuable information! I have locs that are thinning out - taking your advice will leave them alone - no retwisting...started taking biotin & will check out the bee pollen. I was going to cut my locs off but I’ve had my locs since ‘99 so I’m going to be patient! Love your videos - blessings to you always💞
I just love your teachings!!! I would love to meet you in Georgia. I've had those same problems with hair but my stylist did repair my hair with the faux. So far, so good. I'm going to see my stylist in about 2 weeks, which will make 6 weeks since my last retwist. After this retwist, I'm going to see if I can get my hair to be "DISRESPECTFUL" too. She may not like it but I'm going to try. Thanks so much for Sharing.
Yannie thank you Ive used Bee Pollen yrs ago with Butter Cup Honey. We use to get it from Macys in N.Y. N.Y. . You give excellent information and your getting prettier. Im looking forward to all your future videos. Peace & Blessings

Yannie, thank you. You have brought me into Good sense when dealing with my locs (started 1999). My "disrespectful" has begun. This 'stress' video was tremendously helpful. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Peace and blessings...

Peace and blessings to my Royal Queen good afternoon thank you for replying back to my comment I appreciate it and you have a blessed and nice day enjoy your journey
It's always a pleasure to learn from you. I wish I knew about these products and what to do before i released my locs of 5.5 yrs. I didn't want to but the thinning was driving me crazy. I'm looking forward to relocing but want to get my hair health on par before doing so. I'm going to try these two products seeing plenty of people have been suggesting I start taking biotin. Appreciate you greatly. Thank you.
Hi Yannie! I'm so excited and plan on meeting you soon. Jackie is a friend of mines and I saw her video testimony yesterday! I need an appt so I will not be discouraged and will contact you soon. Much love to you - I love, love, love your energy
Good evening Ms yannie I just started following you thank you for showing us about taking care of my Lock's , it's been a year know...just started my journey...
#teamdisrespectful Yes I have been letting my hair be hair and keeping my hands out of it. Thank you Yannie for your videos this is definitely a marathon not a sprint when it comes to our locs. 🙂
Peace queen, I just recently started getting into the orisha science my head is ogun. And I’m hoping that my thinning will stop once I separate from the navy next month. I want to start a loc journey but I’m afraid my hair on top won’t cooperate
Glad I watched your videos.....you giving me knowledge! I chop my locs off do to stress it was thinning so badly 😭 I didnt kno what else to do! I'm going to do my research on the liquor biotin becasue I did the pills but somehow its not working, I'm also going to test out the bee honey....
Ah does still call dem dreds oui! 😆😆 However, I'm experiencing the same with my locs. I'm aware because it's the same spots that I always struggle with during stressful times. I realized that what I'm doing with my hair has no effect on what's going on in my mind.
Another great video. Thank you. Would you consider Bee Pollen Vegan? I'll probably do some of my own research on it, but was wondering how you felt as well.
Blessings King. Sorry for the low sound. I tested it and it sounds clear on my end for some reason. I'll be using my mic for future videos to avoid this issue. Thanks for letting me know.
When that happens from the ends up instead of the roots, what can be done? I don’t want to lose the length of the loc but it’s hanging by a strand anyway about 4 inches up from the end. Any suggestions guys
