We must learn to DIM the mind and brighten our hearts. Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is 10x more powerful than Intellectual Intelligence (IQ). What if we lived in a world were the ‘Smartest’ people in the world were actually the dumbest. We’ve been taught to use our brains more than our hearts and we wonder why there's suffering in the world. This world is reversed. Do the opposite of what ‘they’ tell you to do. Wow, Emily Fletcher,...lovely and amazing! You were my go-to updated meditator the fourth time I was in the hospital in one year, each time at least 3 weeks. 😔 I found you through Mindvalley w/Vishen in 2018. You are a good soul with wonderful energetic lines (aura-ish). A reluctant 'Empath' for 31 years, covering the intense feelings of life [like n exposed raw nerve], with poly-drug use in 31 distracted years. No one ever showed me how to deal w/those overwhelming feelings i was absorbing from others. Damnit lol! [Still working on the internal anger leveled down from self-rage, have to b kinder to myself.] You are a godsend... Sincerely, from the Golden Isles of Southeast Georgia. Mike Gordon 🙏🌴

"Where this can get confusing is when people use the word meditation when they’re actually referring to some type of mindfulness exercise in which you’re focusing your mind in a specific direction. Counting your breaths, visualizing, imagining a waterfall, listening to guided audio-all these would be versions of mindfulness. Most of the popular “meditation” apps or guided RU-vid videos are shades of mindfulness. They are lovely, and can be incredibly useful for changing your mental state in the right now, but I use mindfulness as a runway into meditation." -according to author, Emily Fletcher, this video is a mindfulness practice, not a meditation. As she wrote in book "With meditation becoming increasingly more mainstream, it will be helpful to be well versed on the differences between the two, and to develop a specificity of vocabulary so you don’t feel unnecessarily confused or frustrated."

Actually the prblm is these meditations are just for short time and then what u feel peace for some time and then life comes on normal track.
