This has to be my favourite rc plane of all time, a hugely capable all rounder.
In this video I decide to give it a bit of a stress test by flying mostly at 100% throttle and see how the structure handles things. Unfortunately one of the prop blades seems to have disintegrated in flight. Im not sure why this happened but id love to hear from anyone with some suggestions. Regardless of this, its still a mighty impressive glider/speedster/ soarer/outright fun plane

These nose cones are breaking because of Under construction strength. It's paper thin plastic and the stresses are just to high. These need to be Aluminum of something stronger but Light weight.

Ya I agree, I know it’s a bit of a trade off trying to keep it lightweight but for the price perhaps the cone should be a light alloy 👍

The full size Conscendo does it also the folding prop adapter gets weak

Ah crikey, what a pity . It’s such a great plane, shame to have such a silly flaw.

Biggest problem here is the "wit" brother flying in an area with the public around.

“With”? Maybe a trip to the audiologist is required 😂. Point well made about flying near people. All was good flying over water but the technical glitch changed circumstances. I should have been more cognisant of the lethal capabilities of this flying behemoth. I enjoy sharing my honest flying experiences with fellow enthusiasts. I suppose it’s easier to just be ‘an armchair warrior’ … happy flying my friend 👍

No "wit", cock wit, dic* wit and fuc* wit brothers. Yep, happy flying at a field set up for it with like minded people and safety protocols and boundaries It is flying in public spaces that cause the complaints and associated problems.

Absolutely right, when flying such a large/huge RC airplane/helicopter or drone it's very important that you don't fly it over people. That thing coming down at full balls could possibly injure or possibly kill an insect!!!

I hope you are well insured. Flying in a public area is a definite no no.

Hi Barry, thanks for taking the time to raise this very important issue. I agree that it is best to avoid flying over people. When I was training to become a qualified licensed and insured drone operator it was a topic that was discussed thoroughly during lectures. I can confirm that I was completely in compliance with aviation authority guidelines and for readers reference I’ve pasted a paragraph taken directly from easa Europe . Question-“Can I fly over people? Answer - Generally when you operate in the ‘open’ category, you are not allowed to fly over uninvolved people, unless you have a privately built drone with a weight below 250 g or a drone purchased on the market with a class identification label0 or 1 mark. In any case, try to minimise the time during which you fly over people. “ You have raised a very valid concern and I respect your comment - happy flying 👍

You're wrong. Umx planes are no different from a paper airplane. It's 100% fine to fly anywhere non-private, unless you intend to cause damage with a 210 gram foamie.

@@rcpilots1291 RE Barry ...Common seagulls weigh 300 - 480 gms always flying in public places without insurance...know what I'd rather be hit by.

It is irresponsible people like this that are the reason regulations are enacted and restrictions are place on activities. Even with his own response to your post it shows a level of ignorance as being a "qualified licensed and insured drone operator" he quotes from a non relevant paragraph to RC planes.

Why did you have what looks like an elastic wrap around the canopy and the nose piece?

It’s an elastic band I had been using to secure a little fpv cam
