So I know I have to heat the vinyl in order to stretch it to wrap around the curves of a car...but where do I heat? Why do I have adhesive lines? Why does the wrap peel back later? We'll answer all these and more this #wrapwednesday

Why would you want to stretch on a flat surface anyway?

Typically you don't. This is just for demonstration.

Amazing how simple this is to understand if somebody that actually knows what he´s doing is explaining it to you! Another thing that i haven´t found really anybody talking about is the settings of your heat gun. I understand you´re not supposed to heat the wrap more than 2-3 sec, but what temperature and how strongly the gun blows should i set it to? For both applying and post heat. Anyways thank you so much for posting these vids, they help a ton! 👍

How to do you fix a line as you mentioned at 1:55?

If you have adhesive lines, those are pretty hard to remove. Try pulling it back up to the line, heat, let it reset and rest, then squeegee again. Sometimes they are too bad and won't go away and you'll have to redo the panel :/
