you know man, I've been looking for a proper channel that made some videos about functions for the exam I have tomorrow and I can certainly say that you are the best. nope its just a different way to call a different function so you can distinguish em, having a bunch of f(x) equations would make it messy and confusing while graphing or solving equations so to make it easier one function would be f(x) and another g(x) or even p(x), just don't use i's bc that usually means that its an imaginary number or sumthin like that
