I havent felt any pain at all on any of my stretches so far and I was jokingly after 2 weeks of getting pierced putting the next size up in to see how big the jump is going to be and its slipped in so fast with no pain that I thought I dropped the jewelry only for me to notice it was all the way in my nose and now Im at a 10g buying an 8g in a few days. I also havent used any tapers.
Awesome! 6g is one of the worst being a 25% increase, 4g is also a 25% increase, then 20% to 2g. 2-0g was unbearable for me being a ~35% increase, so i had to find 1g jewelery before going to 0g
Omg, I stretched mine to 6g a few days ago, and when I came to school I freaked out my friends with how big the jewelry was and the noticeable hole in my nose LOL, I find it funny comparing the size to a 16g, so tiny.
i had a throbbing pain too when i got to 6g😭 my septum was so sore. i have a 4g taper in rn and i’m doing it slower this time and letting it sit sideways
I'm stupid when it comes to gauged piercings and I have a question. What did u mean when u said "blow out" ur septum? Like, tear your nose or something? It's probably a stupid question but... well, yeh
Not a dumb question. Most likely that is what was meant. My septum is 4g now and just like any piercing you can blow out by stretching, especially when they are tightly spaced or your skin was just not ready to stretch yet
I used an actual straight taper and threaded and just threaded the jewelry in behind it but I’m only at 10 gauge now. I might go with the tape method from now on tho it’s probably less painful and faster
The way I stretched my serum from a6 to a 4 is by stacking .....uncomfortable for a couple of days but I was able to fit a 4 gauge pincher and didn't hurt .
Y’all are doing it wrong 😅😅😅 You need to use half sizes like 5g, 3g etc. or you can blow out ur nose or it cause a lot of paaaain. You can get custom sizes online. Idk abt y’all but my nose heals pretty quickly so I did wait 4 months, but you are supposed to wait 6-8 months OR LONGER if the pain is really bad if ur dead stretching (Which I don’t recommend)!!!! Since I’m going by half sizes the pain isn’t horrible at all and my stretching journey runs smoothly. Good luck. Don’t blow out y’all’s septum’s. Pls be careful
Which country are you in? In the UK, both southshore adornments and stonewolf adornments custom make them by hand and ship internationally (I've bought from both of them before and they're super skilled). Highly recommend them, though you may be able to find others in your country that make them too.
