Deodarant is A MUST . My mom even begs me to wear deodarant so I don’t get all smelly out there. I know this is just a series, but if this would be my actual mom, not letting me do anything, I WOULD BE SO UPSET all the time. I’m so lucky to have the best mom ever
My mom is like that to , she tells me to buy perfume and deodorant And i also keep extras in my bag i started wearing deodorant at 12 years old and now I'm 15
how about "Mom walks into my room EVERYTIME i try to workout, and she looks at me weirdly and makes me very uncomfortable and never wanna workout again😭"
I don't understand why so many moms are afraid of their daughters managing puberty. Like shaving, wearing a bra, buying tampons to swim, wearing a stronger deodorant, etc. I get it's hard to watch them grow up, but these things are necessary to learn as a young teen (11-15). You don't have to shave or wear tampons, but knowing how to do these things could be important as a young adult. I'm grateful that my mom taught me how to shave, got me bras when I started to need them, bought me different period products to try, and got me a deodorant that's strong enough (I'm very active and sweat a lot). A mother/maternal figure is super important in a young girl's life. Puberty is a hard time for these girls and need support. Denying them education on caring for themselves is a set up for failure in adult life
Fr I am 13 and my mom is preparing me for my period since I haven’t gotten it yet. She also got my plenty of bras to make sure I don’t flash anyone. She hasn’t taught me to shave yet cuz I’m only 13 and don’t need to shave yet but yeah. She also got me a deodorant when I asked for one. She cares for my and my health as well as preparing me for puberty.
i sweat alot! so when i was 10 i asked my mom for deodorant she said no it’s chemically not good. so then when i am now 12 it got so bad that she bought it for me, and she got me the stick and the spray… she did let shave tho.., moral: sweat❤
I feel so seen. I had horrible hyperhidrosis of the armpits starting at 15. I lived in tank tops and black shirts. The long sleeve shirts I did wear always had a stink to them. I started getting Botox injections in my armpits when I turned 30. It cost $700 every time I went. I could only afford it for a few years. Finally I was put on blood pressure medications at 40 that have seemed to eradicate it with the use of clinical strength antiperspirant. I can actually wear colored tops again. I used to have pit stains that would go all the way down to my waist. I hate that I had to go through my 20s like that.
And then there’s our family where we don’t even have any deodorant at all haha😂. Don’t worry we don’t smell and barely sweat there though, it’s cause of a gene.
In this one I get what the mom is saying because it’s not even my mom it’s my dad that doesn’t want us using aluminum deodorants and anti perspirants and stuff cause he says it’s bad for you. Also aluminum free deodorant can work but not for everyone and sweating is natural if you are abnormally sweating see a doctor
Aluminum Deodorant is really bad i do agree here. I would get awful sores from it all through my teens and young adults. I use Hello Charcoal Deodorant now. I dont sweat really on a regular basis though but when i do during workouts my pits are not bad.
Ahhh!! This is so bizarre. Deodorant is a must have. My mom gave me my first deodorant around 10 and it was a sauve one. Now I'm 13, and I use native lol. My mom said "I might try native. It seems good because you like it"
Why be a mother! Why be a parent it’s too expensive for this it’s too expensive for that this mom character only cares about money and now she’s complaining about taking her to the doctors to get it checked because it’s too much money don’t become parents then!!!! That’s the point of parenting you have to spend for basic necessities for your children
I have hyper hidrosis too and it is terrible I sweat so easily and it smells even when I use an good deodorant or antiperspirant I wish I could get rid of the problem 😭
Same. You know what finally worked for me after 25 years of dealing with it? Blood pressure medication. I take 2 kinds. I still have to use Secret clinical strength antiperspirant but I can wear any colored, long sleeve top I want with confidence.
I’ve been shaving my legs and underarms since I was 9 or 10! Same with deodorant I’ve only used native for my whole life! Edit- I’ve been wearing concealer, mascara, blush, brow gel, and lip gloss since I was 11! I litterly don’t go a day without makeup the only t8me I don’t wear it is the second I’m about to go bed and the second I wake up I put it on! I’m 12 now and still ware it every single day no matter where I’m going!
Yesterday I was brave and asked my mom for a deodorant and omg best decision. I am so sweaty all the time and finally won’t need to wear a big sweatshirt to cover up
My mom is completely the opposite. She wants me to shave and use deodorant. I also keep perfume and deodorant in my backpack for school just in case I need to you know use it and then I also keep special pads for armpits just in case.😅
I wear deodorant. I’ve been wearing it since third grade. I’m in middle school. It’s not a bad thing. It’s not a thing for grown up’s. When I have kids, I will have no problem getting them deodorant when they need it. I sure wouldn’t want my kid to get made fun of. The only thing I understand about the mom in the video is her not letting her kid get the deodorant with aluminum. The aluminum is really bad for you and can lead to 🍒 cancer when you are older. But otherwise just please let your kid use this if they ask for it. It’s not gonna harm anybody, it’s actually gonna keep people from making fun about them smelling
MONSTER :MRS OVES it’s time to ge t your daughter deodorant MRS OVES : hunny now that we got the gas let’s go to any store to get you some deodorant I dont care any more
