Giovanni would not have had the success he's had if he didn't work hard with his partners and believed in them. A couple of weeks in Abbingdon was reported to have said that 'older women' should follow her example & not worry about their age. She's 50! Angela Rippon worked hard & had fun. She's 79. Abbingdon quit & Angela stayed.

Good on BBC he is a brilliant dancer and a wonderful human being so leave him alone

Strictly is all about learning to dance, and everyone knows how hard you have to train. Giovanni is only doing g his job trying to make a good dancer. Amanda Abbington chose to go on the programme knowing this. Ridiculous trying to cause trouble now.

She is an attention seeking drama queen and needs to just be quiet now. The term PTSD is used to easily nowadays

The regime on these shows is strenuous. The age card is a poor example this season there were older women ie Angela Rippon and Annabelle Croft so that complaint is out. In the past contestants have done really well and age wasn’t an issue. If it was because of her partners insecurities stop blaming your partner. If you have issues like this perhaps these types of shows are not for that person. X

Just get over it . And leave the boy alone !

I've seen Amanda perform stage but this whole strictly business has really put me off her. I won't ever be watching anything else that she's in.

Abingdon knew what the show was about. All pros want to get the best out of their celebrity partners. It takes hard work and apart from rehearsals you sign up for publicity appearances, outside filming and interviews on It Takes Two. To me it looks like someone milking the system. No one else in 2o seasons has walked out unless due to bereavement or injury Even those have returned to the final show.

I’d heard of Amanda, but didn’t really know anything about her before this season of Strictly. I followed her on SM and to be honest I found her quite odd. She seems to love the sound of her own voice and she does things that she thinks are hilarious. Not for me, unfollowed her before she ditched Strictly. Wish she’d leave Gio alone. I think this has more to do with her……..and her partner than it does Gio.

I have never loked that Ananda from the beginning I knew she's full of nonsense she shouldn't joined strictly then Giovanni wanted the best for her and she was good I didn't like her attitude at all I stand with Giovani

I’ve been watching Strictly since it first started and I’ve never heard ANYONE say that it was easy. Hadn’t she ever watched the programme?

Her appropriation of mental health issues is beyond disgusting, shame on her.

It’s an insult to those brave souls that served our country, parents whose children have been murdered, those that have been raped and assaulted or suffered a horrific car accident. What about those poor sods that were in the aircraft last week when a door blew out or the Post Office postmasters who have spent more than two decades fighting to clear their names or the families left behind because of the suicides that came off the back of this horrific scandal. Those can say they are suffering PTSD, an over-rated actress can’t

Amanda has always struck me as being a bit bolshy from times I have seen her on chat shows and game shows - for example WILTY. She probably was better off not joining the show at the time she did.

Sorry but Amanda knew from the start of the show so why didn't she leave then grow up lady,you weren't a good dancer anyway.Trying to ruina young man's life.Shame on you .

He is a great dancer and probably is hard on the celebrities…some of them think they are so good already and don’t need to try hard….when watching the show you can tell the ones who don’t rehearse enough…

Why are they showing Giovanni dancing without a care in the world that is an advert he has done whitmore is a attention seeker she loves herself she thinks she is irresistable to men her best friend who was Giovanni partner they got to the final they should have won she used to be on coronation street they lived together but they hardly ever saw each other because of their work commitments they split up wether she was holding that against Giovanni l dont know,she never got to the final she was annoyed when she was out, Ranvir l am surprised because Giovanni was always praising her saying she needed to believe in herself her family said on air on strictly how much Giovanni helped he not just with the dancing one of the pros said at the time the he has left now Giovanni was not doing his career any good because he was helping ranvir so much he was giving her easy dances to do everyweek because she really was not much good and that is a fact all she did was cry poor me poor me you could see he was trying to help her she was the worse dance partner he ever had as for Richie what can he moan about he was first out of strictly he was in there for two weeks which must have been horrible for Giovanni winning the trophy the year before you dont hear him moaning.

PTSD ? Really ? You was on Strictly for a big fee not in the Army!!, you made the choice to go on the show. You maybe thought you were going to win , then you saw the competition and realised you had no chance. PTSD what a joke

What's more frustrating and sad than 18-year old snowflakes is the 50-year old one. Sexual tension gone wrong, political correcteness gone mad! And what's with the "I don't want to do red carpet and/or 12 hour training?". You're given a chance to boost your popularity, advance your career and ARE on a dancing show, ah, hello, being taught how to dance?!
