In the final episode of STRIDER Kim and I attempt to hunt down a mature bull tahr with my bow in the Mountains around lake Tekapo in New Zealand. Can we get close enough to let an arrow fly?
So keen to see you get one with the trad bow , I'm about the same stage , looking for the next challenge , shooting with a gun is just a little bit easy
Nice Jurgen! Good to see your putting food in your belly other than noodles when your doing your awesome adventures 😀. Keep up the good work, look forward to season 2
Anyone can shoot a rifle and call it hunting but to go out and use a bow that's hunting I have done both give me the bow anytime the elation of the win is ten times better than a rifle. P.s don't get cheesed of you dont know whats around the corner. Good hunting and be safe from western Australia
Your 100% right about Backcountry food, Real Meals and Radix are so much better! You can’t challenge yourself more than that, I can’t wait to see you succeed.
Just found your channel and loved your videos , much respect in the way your doing it, as another traditional bowhunter you might try turning your quiver over , I dont think your fletching would “ flag” so much if they were towards the bottom limb . Keep doing it the hard way , to many people don’t appreciate the satisfaction it brings
Thanks! yea some of my favourite country up in there. Im certainly not an arrow expert. I was using slick tricks broad heads at that time, as for the arrows, they were on the heavy side, i got them from arrowhead archery in Auckland. Super great to deal with, shame we dont have bow shops everywhere like they do in the US.
