I got a bit annoyed when I saw those brushes come out as they are modelled on brush guy brushes made by Matt matting who ceased business a couple years back! Until I found out it was matt martin making the brushes hahaha! So happy he is still in business as my brush guy brush is awesome and like you say Kev! Superb ergonomic design!

What an unexpected treat to see the 37C make an appearance. I currently don't own that model; or the 39C (sledgehammer). I do have a Windrose true slant (non-torque), and a Maggard M4 traditional slant. I've never used any of the 7 o'clock rainbow in my slant razors. I did however, like the glorious feedback imparted by today's pairing. I use a non-coated blade in the common (torqued) razor- I got that tip from Tony Tony. The Windrose works very well with practically any blade so far. As a pluviophile, I am in profound envy of the rain storms that you've been experiencing. However, I do not want to make light of any victims made to suffer by flooding or incurred bodily injury. So I digress. Today's lather was first rate; as most Kevy Shaves lathers. The brush handle does indeed resemble a latte starting to settle from a vigorous mix. The knot is magnificent in stature as we as performance. It had proper flow of water and soap- it did not hog any bit of lather. This episode is one for the books. You did set me brainstorming as to the item you're about to grab. I bet I've guessed it, but I'm not 100% in confidence. So I'll have to wait like everyone else. Cheers to you on this episode! Cheers to your loved ones as well.

That brush is a stunner, the fragrance is going to be wonderful if it’s a version of Layton. The little drip drop joke was inspired, you can see how much you love creating the lather.Now you have us wondering what coming up in the future.

Excellent shave ....... I just got a 37c myself last week and find it gives a nice smooth shave...... I’m really impressed with it !

I recently started using an iKon X3 Slant Razor after watching Paul H use one and I’m sold on slants. My beard and sensitive skin really like it. I have found, so far, that I like the Astra Green paired with the X3. Very smooth. I have been using the X3 as an every other day Razor and no cuts/weepers to date. 🙏🏼 I tend to care more about my State and local politics as that’s who really picks your pocket on a daily basis. I couldn’t care less what U.S. President’s picture is on my soap as long as it works.😬 Nice shave.

I Love my Merker 37C. One of the best safety razor. I have 34C as well. Who want mild shaves 34C is best and 37C is for more aggressive side.

I LOVE the brushes made by Matt Marting. I have several of the WCS Infinity versions, and the handle combined with the knot they use makes it a perfect face lathering brush for me.

Nearly all blades get sharper on second use. It might be something to do with the coating wearing off. Nobody's really sure and uncoated blades also get sharper second time.

Nice shave Kevy, and an entertaining video as usual. I've just ordered myself the Karve Christopher Bradley daily shavers kit in stainless steel and matching stand. Super excited and can't wait to try it as I've heard nothing but good about the Karve. I was gonna wait for Executive Shaving to get them back in stock, but they have had them on order since November. I think they are struggling with the demand on trade orders. So it seemed like it would be quicker to order direct from Karve. Hopefully I won't get hammered too much for Customs Fees 😡

Nice brush, guess its a 2-band manschurian. As to slants, I must admit cannot really find a noticable difference btw them n normal. My Hoffritz not shaving btr or worse, maybe I'm missing something. Cheers Achim+

Hello, Kevy how are you, first of all I would like to thank you for reviewing this razor and blade,I use this razor and blade combo daily, I am sorry that you got some reapers on your neck but for me this works fine and there is a shaving cream available in INDIA named WILD STONE ultra sensual and that is very near to the TOBOS shave cream, if possible I will send you some Indian shaving creams and razors as there is not much choice in INDIA but Gillette 7o'clock super platinum razor made up of plastic, Gillette 7o'clock sterling and Pearl razors are available number of shaving creams like Old Spice, Gillette and Dettol are easily available, thanks once again brother.

Never tried a slant before, and sounds like I need to give one a go. Not having any 50 pence coins on hand, I substituted with US quarters and placed one on the sink next to me, and one on the bathroom floor while doing my shave. So the children don't come and touch the razor!

Honestly I don't care about politics enough to not buy certain things due to a specific person or party is on it or gets donations from the companies. I use and wear what I like and if someone is offended they can piss off lol. I like watching these shave shows, because they don't get political. I stopped watching TV and going to the movies, because instead of making entertaining shows they make political statement shows. When I want to tune out and relax the last thing I want to see or hear is something political.
