@@honchodavfpv2315as bro said above keep practicing g, it’s much difficult and harder this year I’m starting to become good now again but not 100% keep at it G
Love it, im actually super happy with the changes. Especially wirh spinning shit people shouldnt be able to throw them the way they did anyways. Its def more relasitic with shot combinations imo. Distnace management imo is key for any ufc game.
I’m not crazy nice by any means but after watching this I went into practice mode then online quick fight and one my first career after taking 4 losses. Something that worked for me was learning the strikes by themselves vs the combos which can be a bit overwhelming. Once you master the strikes by themselves you can chain them together
I HATE how i have to stand still to throw a smooth 1,2 or other combinations. The other games let me throw combos while pressing forward. This one has hesitation in the punch that comes after the jab.
I lose every single fight and feel like my opponent can throw 5 times more strikes than me, no matter what i do i get out striked 3-1 I simply cant throw as much. why?
I know exactly how you feel. I’m the same, I’ll try and throw a combo but they just cancel it out and smash my face in. If I try and do the same and interrupt their combo with punches my guy just freezes and won’t punch back
@@martianmilktvofficialthat happens to me, I think it’s because when ever I throw my combo, they stop moving and it puts them in a stationary stance so by the time my combos end their combos come out faster because of the stance they’re in.
Can’t throw fast combos while moving. You have to be stationary. I’ve been learning this over the last few days. Countering is tough. Timing has to be right.
i was literally div 15 on ufc 4 now i’m 5-12-0 in online ranked fights in ufc 5 because of the striking and i’m stuck in div 1, this game is complete garbage, like it genuinely can’t be me, it’s not logical to have that much of a downfall, like a feel like a fkn noob on this game when i’ve been playing ufc for years and last year i was dominating people
I really hope i get the hang of this game, i havnt played since UFC 2 and i was amazing at that winning nearly all online matches, the game was perfect. i havnt tried online on this yet as i can tell by the controls ill lose instantly, the controls and moves on ufc2 were so fluid, this games seems slow, blocky and have to do some alien fingers to pull moves off... I really hope it becomes natural because compared to what it was..it is shocking. Even ufc 2 online, the unlocking move cards, selling them, the betting on real life ufc matches for points, game was so good, ufc 5 just seems like theres nothing to do apart from lose online throwing singular punches and the odd clinch, or playing career to try to get a bit better. .Hopefully someone changes my mind 😅
Out of every 20 fights i win a average of 15 so im not bad off but when i lose i swear im outmatched not even close and thats annoying, can’t even get out the way when they attack 😂😂
It's a good intro to the combos n it's more fun than playing practice mode or getting sparked in 30 seconds by a 40 year old that lives at home still kol
@@Kegel_Destroyer This is not a fighting game. It's a sports game. It does have some fighting game elements, but it's not quite there yet. Also, don't get discouraged if you keep losing. Just try and slowly work on improving bit by bit.
I have gone into the game help and moves menu and nothing seems to line up at all. I’ve tried multiple moves with the button combinations and it doesn’t do it at all. I can’t change my stance, I can’t run at opponents. Basically the only thing I can do is jab. I have no idea what
@@bloodaxe1010 I've done that but it doesn't do anything at all. All the controls work in the practice mode but as soon as I enter an actual match, half of them don't work at all
There’s a pretty big difference in the skill between the modes. In quick play I usually win but in ranked (only div 5) everyone is so much better and it takes my full concentration to get wins(mostly decision wins lol)
@@brycecarver8878 I was late to the game by months and even in division 1 I was 0-6 .. idk why but it always seems I’m slower at combos and when I get hit it disrupts my combo.. like wtf 💀
Played first 5 matches on quick play got all 5 KOs so i thought to myself aw this really not that different in the standup so i switched to ranked and got spanked 3 straight fights i gotta get used to the new inputs man 😂😂🤦🏽♂️
@@jumpingjackgaming8802bro some matches is like your fighter get destroyed and you can't do anything, i mean, the punches are slower, the kicks idem. When this happen i loose to some noobs spammer and i get fucking mad
this is my first ufc game and i preordered it and i cant lie, this game irritates me. it feels so sluggish and non responsive. im doing my best to stick with this game. i want to like it so bad, it just seems like its frustrating me more than im learning
It takes some getting used to. The one thing I’d recommend doing is going to practice mode and using fight now to get comfortable with the pace of the fights
I have yet to play I was really looking for the difference between UFC 4&5 If you understand fighting I feel like this video doesn't help all that much
Bro like I can play decent just can't really dodge an shit I got combos and shit like a roundhouse to a spinning heel kick an such just can't really done all that good
@crooksthagreat8703 agreed its so much better because of it. I've been saying I hope the spammers complaining to ea doesn't actually end up ruining the actual good changes they made lol.
If I rock somebody they recovery their stamina while blocking all my strikes and running away. If I get rocked they get super speed and back me down and punch through my guard and drop me and drain my stamina while recovery all of theirs. It's the complete opposite and it makes no sense. I caught 4 low kicks in a row and I lost all my stamina and had the lungs icon appear yet my opponent had full stamina. Make it make fucking sense I'm over this shit
@@codyleonard4214 some fighters have perks that allow them to regen their stamina faster while an opponent is rocked. When you have your opponent rocked the best thing to do is try and set them up to make a mistake instead of trying to just flat out block break
I was about to do fairly well in ufc 4 i was usually ranked around division 14 or so…nothing special but i did ok Somehow in this game i just can’t win against anyone, like my brain and fingers just can’t connect on the combinations i guess
I'm exactly the same boat. I was pretty decent at UFC 4, but for the life of me I can't seem to get a freaking combo off in this game. Either all my fighters punch too slow or the opponent just cancels out my punches by throwing their own punches, but then I can't seem to cancel out theirs by throwing strikes because my character just freezes when hit.
