Hi Tan, have you tried hybrid of restring zero mains and sync in crosses. If yes, how do you find it compared to restring zero/toroline wasabi x hybrid?
How would you compare the spin potential of GRAPPLESNAKE TOUR SNIPER to TOROLINE TORO TORO? What about compared to RESTRING SYNC, SOLINCO CONFIDENTIAL or GRAPPLESNAKE TOUR M8? What about overall playability?
I see a lot of people getting upset at RU-vidrs hyping up strings like Toroline or Restring and saying it’s all marketing. I find that funny. If each of these RU-vidrs perhaps get 100 people to go buy those strings and then make $1.5 of a string sale as a cut back then they have made a whopping $150 - and that for putting in hours of shooting and editing. Or do people think these string companies pay them $10K per video? Too much misinformation out there that people think RU-vidrs get so much money. Only a few do. I wish good YT will make more money because its a lot of work, but YT aint the company who will share their profits easily. My point is - stop getting so angry at YT some of you out there. They give us content to enjoy and work hard. Tan I applaud your continued effort in making great content. If I am wrong and you are a millionaire now because of your channel, then please enjoy every penny. 👊
How does it compared to Ice Code? I tried the Restring Sync 1.20mm, bought from Tan Tennis Shop at Shopee. Absolutely love it but the still on my racket journey before commit to any of it.
Hey Tan, great review as always. Currently play using blade v9 98 16x19 and solinco confidential and getting quite low launch angle but already plenty of control with this setup. Do you have any idea on the effect on launch angle and if I'll be able to maintain that level of control? Thanks!
Great channel, but to be honest I can’t really take any RU-vidr review of Restring or Toroline seriously at this point. It seems every one of you is an affiliate/marketer of some sort of these companies. I have played them all, with the exception of Sync and while they are decent strings I don’t find that they are better or worse than all the other stuff out there. The marketing strategy of these companies is pretty obvious.
@@glademaster I typically get 6 hours out of a typical poly 1.25mm before it is dead or snaps. The offerings from Toroline, Restring etc… were not materially different. I am not saying they are bad strings, I just don’t think they deserve all the hype they are getting from the RU-vidrs. But if people like them, who cares what I think.
I hate to say it but the toroline strings do have more snap back which lasts longer... but it's not the end all be all. I hit w/ Toroline Ether and the spin was great; was surprised many times the ball dropped in... but I preferred teh feel of Razor code soft. I guess I have to see what gives me more success / bothers my opponents? I think you can't go wrong w/ either one. What's your string of choice?
@@rsh8057 I am glad they are working for you, but I didn’t get the same results. I typically play TruPro Black Knight 1.23 or MSV Focus Hex 1.25 both around 47 lbs in Wilson Blades. I play them for around 6 hours and restring. They both can be had for less than $65 a reel once or twice a year and therefore see no need to pay more for Toroline/Restring, which I don’t believe are any better.
Great review. For a Babolat Pure Aero 98, do you have any recommendations for strings? It sounds like you would like restring zero, RPM blast or something softer.
It depends on what feel you like. For me I don’t like hollow stiff feel so the combination of alu-like string and hollow frame cannot go together. I would prefer muted plastic feel on this type of frame. So ReString Zero, RPM Blast (shortest live), or Hyper G, etc.
Hi Tan! Great review as always. You mentioned your preference for your Ezone, how does Sync compare to Poly Tour Pro? I'm still looking for the right string for my Ezone 98. Currently I'm using Head Lynx Tour on my racket. Thanks!
I think PTP is more lively and fun to play with. Sync is more control. Feel is good but first hour is quite dampened. But if you value longevity then Sync is a good option.
@@kudaterbang10 I can make a comparison to PTP that I used before, I believe it's a least a little bit better in every aspect except for maybe feel that I think it's the same and durability is at least double from PTP. I always string at 48
Haii Tan, great review as always. Have you ever used Babolar RPM Blast Rough? Whats your opinion about that string? I'm currently using Yonex Ezone 98/305, and id like to switch my Solinco Confidential to RPM Blast Rough
Hi Tan. Another great comprehensive review. Love your honesty and detail in describing pro’s and cons and even how it’ll play in different racquets. Not sure it’ll fit in my list of strings as I try so many and this seems good but I like Polytour Strike and Confidential so do I really need Restring Sync? It’s not exactly budget string like MSV Brussard or Swift, so we’ll see. Restring Zero was so unique, crazy spin and depth and in my opinion pretty comfortable feel so no issues at low or high tensions for me with Zero but that’s in an Ezone 100. But I think it’s a good add to Restrings line up and I like the 1.2 mm option as I prefer thinner gauges.
On Ezone 100 I think Zero is a better option. Sync share some similarities with PT Strike but has longer playability. You should try it. Put it on a thin beam control frame and it will shine.
Thank you ma man! Really interesting. One of the most predictable hitting I’ve had the chance to play, was a K Factor Blade Tour (93 18x20) with Rpm Blast 1.30 @53 lbs. A bit too much spin. This one sounds very interesting
i love how honest your reviews are, I heard you said re string zero has low launch angle on radical. I got mixed reviews from others and when I tried it myself, flat shots and net shots didn't get as much clearance over the net and kept falling short.
