This is so true. Sweep picking looked impossible to me before I learned it, then I did and now it’s easy. Now onto string skipping

This is SO true! I started the major arpeggio string skipping 3 days ago and i am already playing it. Not lighting fast but i am comfortable. Everything needs time for the had and brain to digest it. Excellent minor arpeggio. These arpegios really open up new ways to travel the fretboard.

This is a really helpful exercise running through your 5 different pent scale positions while string skipping. It helped me a ton of truly learning them

Guilty as charged lolol I rely on familiarity WAY too often. Got to start jumping back out of my comfort zone like I did way back in the day when I was a young and hungry guitarist so I can start learning more again. Great video!! Thanks 🤩

You're correct in that this is possible if you put in the time. But straight 5 and 6 string sweeps string for string I will never be able to do. Lol. I've tried for a very long time. But I can individually pick out arpeggios no problem. So maybe this will help me.
