This video intended to show how to string a new traverse rod which is used in commercial settings quite often, vs repairing or replacing a cord in a telescoping traverse rod. That would be a good topic for another video clip though. We will put that on our list! Thanks for watching!
This type of rod has separate parts, which are just screwed in, and can be removed by loosening the screw. There are many types of rods or tracks available. I'm not sure which type you have. Is it marked with a brand name, or any other markings?
Thats completely ridiculous. That type of traverse rod is very uncommon and normally when replacing cord in a traverse rod, it is very inconvenient to remove the master carriers. You must do it with all the parts, slides and carriers left in.
