This has been my best spring season yet. Usually I don’t start fishing till mid May, but I’ve been catching dozens of schoolies on every trip for the last month. Zoom fluke on a 3/8 oz jighead has done the majority of the work.

Moneybags hooked me up with a new van stall vs100 and a few new lures etc.... Went schoolie hunting Sunday for 1st time this year, my 8 yr old son caught his first schoolie ever, 1st for season and life.. he was over the moon.... probably about 20" and 3 lbs. On a bucktail of course w a grub on it.

Yup. Bucktail w trailer gets Stripers and Halibut consistently here in the SF Bay area and no treble in the hand. Classic. Miss those NE Stripers!

They are definitely out there maybe not in size yet but definitely in numbers, my first of the season was just shy of 25” he had some shoulders on em an looked like he’s been eatin good, the season is here fellas tight lines, good luck on the fly 💰💰💰..🤙🏼🤙🏼..

Iv got one 2 days ago on Saturday 5am it is 23 inches and 4 lbs. I got him down in ri I was fishing a tiny canal from ocean side that goes into a back bay.

I like the Goose Hummock buck tails. Squid color is my favorite. Affordable and good quality.

Back in the early 90's storm had the big mac lure orange I got 95% of all my keepers on them. Every night getting 36 in plus fish. Best lure I ever had.

@SHEFGAINS Yes have loads of them I have 100's of lures nothing works better than the big mac lures.
