Thank you for making these video comparison! Finally got to see Diawa Sp Minnow, Yozuri Hydro and Coltsniper that everyone is talking and comparing all over the internet. Many thanks!
I’d like to see a video that compares the larger models, like the: 6 5/8” SP Minnow 6 3/4” Hydro Minnow 7” Bomber Long A 7” Redfin ...and whatever else that might fall into that category.
Great Vid! Very informative! I'm new to the channel and really enjoying your content. One note: The Bomber lure tested is identified by the graphic as the Bomber - Long A. The lure tested is in fact the Bomber Long Shot. Gotta love the Bombers! Keep up the good work, keep having fun and the tank tests are absolutely THE BEST!
Really awesome video on so many levels and greatly appreciate the content. IMHO the old school Bomber is your best A to B straight retrieve lure and is slowly becoming forgotten tackle unfortunately as the SP's saturate the market more and more. This was my first spring season with the swarter and it works magnificently in colder water when you need to CRAWLLLLL the lure along for a lethargic bass to strike. I really liked that ABOA Wideback Minnow ...never saw that before.
Thanks for the love and the comment! People really do sleep on the bomber just because of the casting but thats not always an issue... I know I have some in my bag!! The Wideback minnow also is a fish catching machine.
What type of terminal connection were you using (Connection at the lure)? Do you use the same connection when actually fishing or something else (Snap swivel, Line tied to lure, etc)? Do you rig differently for Stripers vs Bluefish as your target (Fluoro vs Steel Leader, etc)? Just a newbie trying to learn from some well seasoned pros. Thanks.
Very confused how the yo zuri is copying the salt pro when the yo zuri mag darter from what I've read and from use of both yo zuri has been around since early 2000 trying to find market release dates but salt pro was brought in from Japanese tuna market several years later like over 10 or more just curuiose if you know when each was released to consumers aka fishermen. Before that it was weighted red fines and bombers
