Fall Fishing on Lake Hickory in North Carolina for Striped Bass ( Striper). We were Trolling for Striped Bass ( Striper) using Captain Mack's A-rigs with Planer Boards and Leadcore Line. The Bite was Hot and Nearly every hookup included a double or triple! Dakota caught his first and personal best Striper at 31". It was an awesome day!

Excellent work guys. I grew up fishing farm ponds for bucketmouths and learned that pretty good..."lakes" are different. Past few years I've been focusing on saltwater fishing. Found a good deal on a 24' pontoon with a 125hp 2 stroke on lake hickory and here we are. This RIVER has tested me, totally different environment. Thanks for showing us how to do it, I'm watching closely 😎. Live to fish, fish to live

Awesome! I troll similar rigs on Buggs Island but you definitely have a better quality of fish! What are times you like using the I-Pilot better than the big motor? Definitely subscribing!

I usually start with the trolling motor when I’m trolling up to around 1.7 or so. Much more than that it eats the batteries too fast lol so I will use the big motor with trolling plate. I can still get down to 1 mph with the trolling plate on the big motor. Sometimes even at 1.5 or less I’ll use the big motor, if I’m not getting bit in the trolling motor I believe the sound of the motor can trigger bites on some occasions, no proof lol just start trying different things when it’s slow

How many colors with lead core are you putting out?

2-3 depending on how deep I’m seeing the fish. I try to be just above the fish I’m targeting. We were 20-25 ft deep last week most the time

+K Tee At 1.5 a rule of thumb for the mini is 15ft at 90ft back, 20ft at 120ft back, 25 ft at 150ft back

In fact I struggle with poor circulation in my arms a lot and my hands go numb. I’ve dropped a lot of fish in the boat so the rag helps me with grip sometimes when I can’t feel my fingers lol
