Looked like a fun day of fishing. Why are lake Mead stripers so small? Are they hybrids? Here in georgia we use 10 to 13 inch gizzard shad to catch up to 50 lb stripers. We also catch up to 8 lb. Hybrid stripers. Enjoyed the video,thanks

They took over the lake. They estimation more than 2 million. The schools are so big that the food sources are hurting. They all stay between 1-3 pounds.... that’s why there’s no limit here for stripers under 20 inches

I've never fished for or eaten Striped Bass, are they a good tasting fish? My experience with bass includes large and smallmouth, but typically they aren't known for their taste...just catching for sport. We are headed down to Lake Mead for 5 days in August, renting a houseboat. I'd like to bring a couple rods and fish off the boat and bank. Is fishing good that time of year and are they tasty enough to keep a few for grilling on the boat? What do they compare to...Cod? Are they muddy tasting at all? Thank you! Great video!

Grilling them black pepper kosher salt lemon slice inside and u wanna put olive oil on heir skin

If u wanna bake them in aluminum pan from dollar stir put olive oil at base cut 5 dry red pepper pieces sliced lemon about half a lemon no more green olives garlic u can put at the base sliced potatoes then fish on top as some sliced lemon inside fish black pepper on top put red paprika Ve generous on that Alstom chicken consome pouder light up ur bbq cover pan aluminum foil so it won’t dry the fish add real fresh garlic cloves and add 1 or more slice jalapeño n whole green olives. This is a Jewish Morocan recépé enjoy brother
