I have a few jobs to do on my 1HD-FTE Land Cruiser, so I'm going to strip down the inlets and fuel injection so I can do maintenance and some diagnosis. I haven't done this before, so be kind!
Hi! I have opened 1hd-fte engine several times and never used wd-40😂 Toyota bolts are so damn good after +20 years. That plastic thing is almost certainly from vacuum switch valve: see Google for more info. Better to get new part. I live in Finland and I had to send my injector pump to England for repair. It only cost about 1000 euros compared to 5500 euros here in Finland! Your intake manifold looks really clean Thanks to egr delete. These engines are well known for building all kind of gunk to intake manifold. The best car I have ever owned and planning to keep it for rest of my life. Great video and looking forward next episode!
@@landcruiserscotland here in Finland Toyota parts are extremely expensive! That is why I order all my LC parts from Japan. Way way cheaper! And of course some parts(King springs etc,) from Down Under.
What a great vehicle . Love these cars. 1hdfte are the best ! Love your videos mate , watching from Perth Western Australia. I just bought a 100 series unknown service history, I think I will pull the injectors one of these days just for piece of mind … cheers (430,000km)
@@landcruiserscotland the way Toyota built this model was on point. Much more of a refined vehicle than the patrol, also the motors aren’t comparable . Smooth, quiet , powerful etc .td42 = agricultural, rough, noisy . Won’t look back
