Currently watching and love the draft so far, but I'm curious about the pick at 7:30. Or, moreso, why Baleful Mastery wasn't even mentioned or considered for the pick. With the deck already comfortably able to splash for Flunk, why not try to snag another strong Black removal spell? I don't think either pick that Luis discussed there was incorrect, mind. Just curious why Mastery wasn't in the running. EDIT: Looks like a similar question was discussed on Eliminate just a few picks later. Oops.

As for how often you end up 3 colours: I think a TON I am loving the 3-5 colour lesson control decks. This formats sweet. Also no green plenty of times cause of how good the colourless fixing is.

@9:21 Eliminate > Flunk most of the time. And I would actually play both. Eliminate is relevant throughout the game because there are TONS of solid creatures that grows and the huge Quandrix fractal. They purposely lower the bounce spells for blue in commons in this set and you wonder why.

Tbh draft was so open it was on auto-pilot. I personally prefer the LSV vids where creativity and risk are involved.

No love for Eliminate :'( I know this was early but there are a lot of cheap creatures that become huge problems in the late game that it hits.
