2022 MCACN Show in Chicago, IL at the Rosemont Convention Center. The cover cars in this video are 3 of the nicest 1969 Yenko Camaros on the planet owned by my fellow barn finder friend Dave Beem.
So great to see so many cars from the Muscle Car Era alive and well, and the enthusiasm people still have for them keeping it strong. And that's just one small sample. Thank you for sharing Patrick.
To see you look right at numerous Chevelle's including that black '70 Chevelle convertible and then just walk on by it like they weren't there?! ? Who's channel am I on? It's like the Twilight-Zone!
Does it ever get boring looking at these awesome cars? Every time I see a 69 Camaro, 70 Chevelle or 63-67 Sting Ray, it's like I'm seeing for the first time, and I've seen many in 60 yrs.😀
Excellent video! I really appreciate that the red Chevelle LS6 was not touched as far as restoration. With the faded and discolored interior parts, that would be tempting to replace. Especially since it’s not the most desirable color. Love that car!!
You almost walked by one very rare car that my dad sold to buy a riding lawnmower. They only made 50 of them. It was pretty strong for its time. It was a 1979 Plymouth Road Runner with a 360 police interceptor engine and a torque flight transmission. If I remember right it would run high 13s in the quarter mile which is pretty strong for any 79 model year car. It was black with silver stripes along the bottom and louvers on the rear side windows so it blended in pretty much unnoticed by most people with all the black Trans Ams on the street at that time. It would dispatch most of the Trans Ams unless they were heavily modified.
@@adolfoliverbusch4755 I had headers and the lean burn system removed from mine and it would spank most the cars of that era if they weren't better tuned than mine so a good story is all I have left. I own a 2004 Infiniti G35 sedan now and it is probably the fastest car I've ever owned right out of the box. It has 260hp and 260 ft-lb torque. It has 150,000 miles and it's still quick, fast and reliable. I've never had it over 150mph but it will do it quite easily. If you don't believe that fine but I don't have any desire to prove anything at this point in my life.
Nice event wish you could have stayed on the chevelles longer lol that 67 you walked around must be the lowest mile car in existence if that's all true I think the red 70 with that patina was really nice keep up with the videos really enjoy them
That was awesome! Especially that epic Chevelle drag car with the crazy tunnel ram! Any guesses which car was the rarest of the bunch and which one was worth the most?
that silver 442 w-30 is owned by the guy who sold that 300k w-30 at mecum and got returned. the superbird at 15:03 is the Bristol speedway pace car.we had it at our shop back in 1990. everybody took turns beating the pure shit out of that car LOL
Patrick thank you for sharing for those of us that could not attend. This is regarded as the best in the nation as we all know. I feel I owe you the price of admission with the great video! Happy Thanksgiving.
That Mulsanne(?) Blue C3 convertible with the vinyl covered hardtop is frickin' SWEET! LOVE that block of '70s-'80s muscle, that King Cobra, the Laguna S3, and those Grand Ams!!! Rare Hurst Grand Prix at 13:32. That original Tropical Turquoise paint on that '67 SS is STUNNING! Never would've guessed it was original!
Gran sport is the ultimate muscle car....imo...the most kickass air cleaner ever....the 70 chevelle ss is second for me.. dude in the pink suit??? Lord...lol
Glen’s favourite Cranberry Red Chevelle SS from the Oshawa, Ontario, Canada, plant at the end of the video, though he would start talking for sure! lol
