The "Astana Ballet" Theater building opened in December 2016. The total area of the theater is 15,467 m². The auditorium has 783 seats (609 in the stalls, 104 in the second balcony tier, and 70 in the third balcony tier).
The stage area, meeting all modern standards for theater spaces, is 536 m². The stage complex, including the proscenium, rear stage, and wings, exceeds 1,000 m². The orchestra pit is designed for 50-60 musicians.
The stage transformation utilizes the latest technology in movable and liftable mechanics. The lighting system includes both traditional theater equipment and the latest innovations in the field. Approximately 800 lighting devices ensure high-quality artistic lighting.
The theater has two rehearsal halls, each matching the stage area in size, making the creation of new performances very convenient.
