The Square of State Symbols was inaugurated on July 6, 2009. It hosts the largest flag of the Republic of Kazakhstan. This square is the venue for military oath-taking ceremonies, the presentation of state awards and honors, as well as celebrations of the State Symbols Day on June 4th.
