The story of Connor Cavalaris, Charlie Fiessinger and Tyler Plantz, three Notre Dame football players who took different routes to become Irish walk ons and eventually secured their spot among the team's scholarship players.
Had a scholarship to western oregon outta high school. Didnt even end up playing that season jusf went through winter workouts and got in trouble for having a party at my dorm. I ended up dropping out that year. That was 2010 so Joined the military and got out in 2016. I ended up working and got addicted to opiates until November 2019. Now im 29 and sober and have regretted not playing football. I dont wanna go through the rest of my life not giving it a try. Im starting to workout and feeling great! I plan on walking back on at the division 2 school this year. If i can join the army and get through addiction anything is possible even at the age of 29. Pray for me. I will make the roster and will not give up until im on that field after 10 years.
You got it man! Anything is possible with confidence and consistency! I dont know you but from hearing your story I know you got a fighting spirit in you that has what it takes!
You can do it bro. I played on a semi-pro team at 30 years old against D2-D1AA Grads. The key is being in shape and stronger than when you left the sport. The game will come right back to you.
