@@Stephanie-o6q Hi there, perhaps I should explain. I'm a welder by trade for an engineering company but since my son took his own life 3yrs ago and his mother did the same on mother's day last year. I found myself suffering deep anxiety which left me unable to cope, this had a diverse effect on my health too. I couldn't give up work financially but asked if I could temporarily change my company position so rather than working during the day where I have to put on a brave face I'd do the weekend security job instead. This means I'm there at unsociable hours but only 2 shifts a week. Sundays I work 18hrs but Fridays are longer so I can still get paid a full weeks wage. My son was well off and left me 2 houses, I gave one to my mum to sell and I've sold the other and bought a cottage in the mountains of North Wales, once I've finished the renovations I'm taking early retirement. I've always worked long hours but enjoyed life too, both in the UK or my 10yr emigration to Australia but not always for me but more for the family I once had. I've always found if you don't work you don't get, of course that's not without its price... I see things slightly different now but at the moment it's a means to an end, that end for me is to find happiness 😊
