Man, i'd love to do half of this ...except I've tried, and literally everyone has 100 handling shotguns so going for the melee/sword just makes me look like a clown :v Still, as a Titan main it's always a pleasure to see someone getting away with stasis melee shenanigans! I tip my cap in respect to you good sir, and return to stringing people up from the back lines with arbor warden :]
My thought is that they don’t want you having the constant ability to three peak with the sword giving you a insane advantage over people hence why it only drops on kill which I think makes it a good skill based weapon since you need to frag out to get the most value out of it
