good tier list. i can see why some people may disagree with the list. i personally wouldnt place hangezuka ( i probably botched writing his name🤣) next to the likes of enmu cause we havent seen a lot of battle feats for him, but the major characters are placed appropriately. 👍

Kanao is high tier (Doma said that she is more skillful than shinobu) Rengoku's dad is high tier (He is former hashira who is stronger than rengoku) Kaigaku is low tier ( he is not strong at all even while being an um ) Sabito is definitely mid tier (Because he was stronger than giyu and could have become much more stronger than giyu) Tanjuro is top tier He had yoriichi potential but just cause his illness and less screentime most people think he is weak, he even performed all forms of hinogami kagura or sun breathing while being weak because of his illness
Kanao was said to being physically stronger than shinobu (practically everyone is) and as skilled as a Hashira so you can argue to put her at the same level as a Hashira I wouldn’t complain, Rangoku’s dad is definitely not stronger than Rengoku and I have no idea how you came to that conclusion going off the little screen time we’ve seen of him (I just put him as being about the same level as the other former hashira’s and we know good and well the current batch of hashira’s are much stronger than the ones from before due to gyutaro literally saying Tengen is incredibly strong for a Hashira and Uzui saying he ain’t much compared to certain other hashira’s (except for during Yorichi’s time of course). Kaigaku was nonetheless a UM even tho he didn’t really deserve being one which still puts him at a certain pedestal we can assume he was either near Hashira level or possibly even at that level. Sabito is more talented than Giyu but his training was cut short. We know he doesn’t scale above tanjiro (after 2years training) so he ain’t nowhere near mid tier although if he had trained (like Giyu) he would’ve potentially been the strongest or 2nd strongest Hashira and finally Tanjuro literally has one feat of cutting a bear and we know he’s sickly and bedridden, so idk how you can say he compares with other Hashira just from that one showing but heck go for it if that’s what you believe
The others that you mentioned are good except Tanjuro. Tanjuro doesn't have Yoriichi potential at all or even close to it. He can perform the hinokami kagura "dance" which is very different. His breath mastery is good and he does have the STW and SS, but he was training from a young age and it was said that they have ways in which to train them and their family has been doing it for generations. Its nowhere near as impressive as people make it seem. he's been training for over 30 years. Thats much longer than any hashira, even Gyomei only trained for 8 years. If the hashira had they knowledge of the SS and STW then most of them would have it. Yoriichi was blessed by gods from birth. He was no ordinary human, he defied the laws of the world, he was also perfect in character. Even Kokushibo compared his technique to the holy techniques of the gods. His sun breathing was totally different from the others.
@@ChugXY @ChugXY Rengokus dad is definitely stronger I said Sabito would have been much stronger than Giyu but because of protecting others he lost to the hand demon, his potential was wasted. Tanjuro did all forms of hinogami kagura while being sick, defeated a bear who was much larger than him and he did that 10 days before passing meaning that he was at his lowest because obviously he is nearly dead, there are theories that tanjuro had a mark and the illness was not some illness it was just curse of mark.

Yeah you said sabito could be stronger than Giyu but like I said he died too soon and his ghost form (which is the only scaling we have of him) lost to 2 years training tanjiro and that version of Tanjiro simply doesn’t compete with most mid tiers so yeah Sabito def ain’t a mid tier. You said it yourself there’s theories of Tanjuro but nothing is confirmed so who knows where to scale him. Just beating a bear is simply not enough to scale him with the other hashira’s my dude so I ain’t going back to this
Why do you underestimate canao so much? She was always strong, especially towards the end of the manga. She will destroy Gyutaro without much effort. In the finals she is stronger than Shinobu, Rengoku or Tengen. Inosuke also
Why do you underestimate Nakime so much? 2 hashira, who were far from weak, could not kill her. She simply teleports the enemy, Sanemi and Giyu will not do anything to her either. You also underestimate the Hantengu. How can Giyu or Sanemi single-handedly cut down wooden dragons and at the same time run after the main body?
Is Sanemi really stronger than Giyu? I really have doubts bout it. My Hashira ranking would me Gyomei>Giyu>Sanemi>Muichiro>Obanai>Mitsuri>Kyojuro>Tengen>Shinobu. Whaddya think?
I like the list but within the community it’s quite widely accepted that Sanemi is the 2nd strongest Hashira due to Kokishibo’s statements about him and Gyomei but in the anime itself it seems like Giyu and Sanemi are often portrayed as equals so it’s tough to say

Only thing I can think of is plot😂, but maybe they had a time constraint or something. And realistically even tho the upper 3 were outnumbered, they should’ve won their respective fights (well douma is debatable due to poison and all) but Akaza and Kokishibou had their own problems to go through as well
Shinobu is the weakest hashira, just because she injured Douma does not mean that she is stronger. The maximum who will die from her poison is kaigaku, the new 6th upper moon, but gyutaro will not die from such an amount of poison. This is the strength and power of the upper moon
Shinobu is enough for gyutaro and daki and even kaigaku even if they all three ganged up on shinobu she will speed blitz all three of them and will poison them. No matter how you look at this Daki,gyutaro,Kaigaku are getting blitzed and poisoned by shinobu. Keeping up with UM2 (even doma said " I can't read her attack, its too fast") is more than enough to blitz a demon that's a UM6 level or lower(Kaigaku). Gyutaro was effected by a basic Wisteria laced kunai to the point where he couldn’t move at all and shinobu's poison is more lethal than that wisteria poison. She can inject as much poison as she wants bcuz gyutaro will be immobilized by the poison. the effects would be even worse for Daki and kaigaku. Gyutaro was dying to keep up with an Extremely weakened uzui who lost 1 eye and a hand and were poisoned for the whole night. Shinobu will keep blitzing him and injecting more and more poison.
@@cyberhunter6300 I agree that she can kill the new upper moon kaigaku or daki, but not gyutaro. The upper moon will not die from her poison in the sword. Kaigaku is not yet very strong, so his immunity is weak and most likely he would die from her poison. Daki is the weak link of the 6th upper moon, but not gyutaro
bro this is so off. Kanao is stronger than shinobu so she should be under kanao in mid tier. And tamayo should be mid tier because her blood demon art is really overpowered. And zenitsu soloed an upper moon all by himself he should be stronger than kanao inosuke and genya. Watch and read the manga before making a tier list dude
@@stef-te3ze buddy thinks humans don’t make mistakes or something (also I speedrunned this list so I def had skipped over certain things) so sure Kanao is stronger than the weakest Hashira, that being Shinobu but I sorta tried to put them all in a 1v1 situation, and when I ask myself the question of: would Kanao be able to beat Shinobu in a fight, I’m not too sure about that due to the speed difference and Shinobu could come up with different lethal poisons but if you think she’d win I’d understand that after all KNY scalling is not as clear as some people think. Also Kaigaku was quite literally called a stop gap for UMs, he didn’t really belong in that position and he himself knew that, he needed more time to hone his demon skills (time which he did not have, Yushiro pretty much confirms this) so not too sure where he scales but for all we know dude could be Daki level or slightly higher (he definitely doesn’t compare with any legit Upper moon)

oh i didn't use DKT since he didn't have time to adjust to his powers and we didn't see much of it. I mostly used 13th form Tanjiro when he was having his 1v1 with Muzan. It was a weakened Muzan and every Hashira was pretty beat up so it was hard to scale ya know?

Id agree with Gyomei possibly being capable of beating Akaza (no regrowth head, cause if we’re talking about Akaza with regrowth head then Akaza would dominate) but Douma is too much simply because his blood demon art is a complete counter to demon slayers (he makes it tough for them to breath). Also douma didn’t have the opportunity to go all out so it’s hard to say how strong he really is
