Super video as usual bro. After seeing your Philips night vision video I installed it on my RTR 200. I too noticed that the lifetime is extremely low compared to the Phoenix bulb which came with the RTR. The High beam got fused in 9 months of use, after that I changed it back to my old bulb. My RTR is more than 4 years old now and still it is running with the bulb in which it came with....

Thank you for sharing this comparison. I have been using the "Osram H4 Laser Night Breaker Duo Box 64193NBL-HCB Light (60/55W, 12V, 2 Bulbs)" since 2018 and have used the same setup on multiple trips, with no issues observed. I was in fact in a dilemma to choose between the current "Next Generation" and the "Racing Vision" but apparently both have similar outputs. Since I have had a satisfactory performance with the Osram, guess I would better stay with the same brand and opt for the next generation. If only these were cheaper!!!

Such bulbs doesn't last longer than the ordinary bulb. I used both 60/55 Philips extreme power and osram night breaker for my TVS Victor GLX 125 cc. Illumination was excellent for both bulbs, but both the bulbs were blown off while driving on highway during night time. Now, I use Bosch 60/55 halogen bulb and no problem till now since 4 years(whereas night breaker and extreme power didn't even last for 6 months).

Bro since you have mentioned the AHO setup, bulb would be best interms of life and brightness when it comes to AHO? I was planning to go for these but since life is issue with these. Hii, great video as always. Can you please tell if there is any difference between the philips extreme vision plus and philips racing vision? They both have the same rating and are from the same brand but extreme vision is much cheaper than racing vision.

I use extreme vision.. it’s slightly better than OEM bulbs, with decent life .. racing vision has less life and costly

'Lux Intensity' is a wrong term. Lux is unit of illuminance i.e. optical flux incident per unit area of a receiving surface. Whereas, intensity is the amount of optical flux emitted by a source per unit projected area in a given direction. Candela is the unit of intensity.

Thank You so much for making video on this topic. Actually the light visibility of Honda Activa is very horrible with OEM Bulbs. Are the bulbs compatible with Activa because the stock bulb is 35W. You can also suggest me a good one or an LED.

The problem is not with the stock bulb but the problem is with the reflector design of Activa, Honda is always third grade in designing headlights, Bajaj & TVS designs best headlights in Indian market. Coming back to your problem the solution is either use two auxiliary led fog lights fitted in number plate mounting or use a good quality led bulb. Just stay away from nighteye as there are 100% chances of getting fake at the price of original. You can buy Autobahn R6 from amazon, it will cost around 1700 Rs or M3 that costs around 2000Rs with 2 years warranty. Both have good high beam and low beam spread.
