I like how Sellen's strategy was to just roll up as close as possible, circle menacingly like she was asserting dominance, and then eat colossal amounts of shit for it. And then, realizing shit was getting real, she switched to... slowly walking towards the brick shithouse whole throwing sparkling pebbles at it.
I wish we could have something like the ball on the end of his weapon. Either strickly for that or something like other variations of it that can pair with any weapon.
Man it must be fun setting all these up. I enjoyed watching NPCs fight it out on smash bros melee i can only imagine setting these up for dinner entertainment lol
I think ive only ever seen one of these guys. The one i found is by the walking mausoleum in the consecrated snow field. Were there anymore in the game?
I think we can infer a little bit. He moves almost like Godfrey does at times with the axe and ground stomps, and the grab attack. There are gladiatorial colliseums scattered around that obviously held quite a bit of use but now stand forgotten and abandoned, much like most of the duellists. The tattoos on this one are interesting, I want to zoom in more so we can better see them, they may give us a better idea, but they do seem to be chunkier in design, which could hold stylistic similarities to the simplified crucible tattoo you can add to your character in creation. Maybe they run as a bit of a parallel with the crucible knights - being leftovers of a bygone era. Or, I think there are talismans connecting Radagon the Red to colliseum combat, it could be the crucible knight equivalent of when he left the arena to begin his campaign against Rennala, or when he became Elden Lord. Then again, with Messmer and his ties to snakes from the preview of the dlc, maybe we'll get some more lore to connect with this guy, too
I kinda like the idea of a duelist grave warden who's fought so many enemies that their remains stay on his body and axe, and as they stay there they rot and fester making him putrid.
@ 17:00 that was the best and closest fight easily, came down to a few HP 😅 sheesh and the winner definitely died the second the camera was taken away, still 👏
