The fact that almost all of the bosses only have one health bar and most (not all) of their attacks were tickling him while he also has 3 phases made him too much for them to handle even if he wasn't doing that much damage.

Just realized Demon still has his buff from Sekiro, which is that all non-player damage is reduced by alot.

I am currently after 90+ hours into beating Sekiro. Have not even met Inner Isshin, Inner Owl Father, but Demon of Hatred may be the hardest boss fight I ever attempted. He's ridiculously difficult in Sekiro. But it sure is an epic fight once I finally beat him

It took malenia scarlet rot to finally fell this guy it's crazy, I don't know what you guys say but this is what I call overtuned like extremely, I fear fromsoft are gonna pull a similar boss to him and malenia in the dlc, we haven't seen a 3 phase boss in elden ring yet

I would be curious exactly what the resistances are for all the non-physical attacks. Him taking a lot from Holy makes sense. Same for his fire immunity. Lightning and magic are the most open to interpretation. The physical resistances he has seem to be ripped from the original game which explains why Godfrey couldn't do much, while Gideon managed to take out 50% hp. Was his Rot resistance/vulnerability just made the same as his terror resistance from the original game? Even to this day, it's weird that he was vulnerable to terror given that Sekiro has no real way to proc it.

I'm new to this channel (and loving it). But question - how is the damage/health normalized between games? Or does FromSoft use the same scale for every single one of their games?

He has about 60k health, unbreakable poise (parry being the way to break poise in Sekiro) Demon Bell which buffs his hitting power by like 15-30% ridiculous defense (the reason is because Sekiro has no stamina). Beast Clergy man did like 8k, then another 10k, before the DD wore off then he did another 5k before phase 2 where he did like 14k (with 30% health reduced because of DD debuff). His first phase health bar is more health then 90% of bosses (mini and field bosses included) the rest hardly win out. He has more total health than any other boss in the game. Now in Sekiro, Demon of hatred health value is actually 20k total but here they cranked it up to 60k SO actually any boss that beat his first phase actually would’ve won. Just based off the health damage he did with beast clergy man then 10k before damage counter reset then the second he did another 5k health DH would’ve died. So in Elden Ring he is buffed to all hell (3x) health and Demon Bell to increase damage….its def not “original game stats” Added it up before Maliketh died…just Maliketh…10.8k, 6.5k and then 17.3k. Plus if you wanted to add in BC that’s like a 2x kill…around 37k damage without the debuff of DD had this buffed version Over half dead in 3rd phase, though there was approx 6-8k health left putting him at over 42k and add the DD debuff of based off the bar is 20-25%. For 2/3 of his life bar would put him around 52-56K give or take a couple thousand. All that said DH has only 20k and 15k in the memory….so he is beyond original…

This demon is susceptible to most kinds of magic: rot, thunder, holy, gravity etc. I think Malenia's 2nd phase with an opening bloom can handle the demon.

I thought all the health bars were just fused into one, but no, he really is just built different. I also just found out that Placi’s fire and beam attack is pure fire, thought it dealt some holy damage too.

This is my hardest souls boss. Fighting him stopped being fun very quickly. I understand why he’s in sekiro, but I’m also glad they made him optional. I beat him once and never even tried again.

Since pretty much all Sekiro enemies and bosses can be taken down by Terror (as I saw in a Sekiro boss vs boss series of videos) with some more resistant to others of course, the equivalent here would be Deathblight. In that case it would've been interesting to see how it fared against Fortissax, but Fortissax unfortunately has barely more health than Mist Noble, and those deathblight clouds I don't recall being too threatening because they're so scattered, they're much more of a concern with basilisks. And also I have no idea what his Terror resistance even is besides not being 100%

Can we have a video of every Bloodborne boss vs every Elden ring boss in a gauntlet style so if cleric beast beat Godrick if fights until defeat against the rest then switch to the next Bloodborne boss where it lost same with Elden ring

Ah the Demon of Hatred, I really like him as a penultimate late game Boss it was a shakeup from the classic Sekiro Enemy one has seen up to that point, he felt really imposing, the Music was spendid, the Story behind the confrontation meaningfull and the combat really kept you on your toes with very little irritation and inconsistency When I began playing Elden Ring I started missing Sekiros Combat so badly... He has both a damage resistance of 75% and a damage buff of 50% against enemies that are not the player so these fights are not a fair image of the strength that the demon of hatred had while fighting the player in sekiro. Even then amazing port keep on the good work!!!

I feel like Rykard could definitely beat the Demon Of Hatred... If he didn't miss so many attacks, which would've allowed him to stagger DOH even more, giving him more time to conjure up his Rancor Storm attacks.

I feel like wolf is the most skilled out of all fromsoft player characters, he had a second life and a blade to kill immortals, but other player characters in this series just can do that. With a blade alone sekiro went head to head with some crazy foes, but came out on top all the same.
