i played this game with my dad when i was 8 and i was scared by the wolf lmao ! love this game it reminds me so much good (and rare) moments with my dad !!!

the first stronghold title was the first game ever for me as a kid (beside minesweeper) when it was brandnew. seen it at my uncles and was really blown away by the little details and graphics. and as my uncle noticed that, he GAVE ME HIS CD OF THE GAME! can feel it today as if it was yesterday. what memories...

One of my all time favourite games and soundtracks

Am I the only one to think this is actually the best music for concentration/study/work? I mean after all, this music is MEANT to help you concentrate on the game tasks! And generally a lot of other games' ambients are like that. I only played the Crusader, and had great nostalgia while those songs, but otherwise all of them were really helpful to stay productive

now my hand itchy to play this game again.... i had to abandone game like this that require lot to do and manage, after 2 time got ischemic attack... couldnt handle multi tasking or multi thinking now😢... watching someone play this on youtube is enough for me... or listen to this😊

Stronghold 2 is for me the best one, it was more sim and castle management than the first with the banquets, dances etc. I still, remember how I discovered the game, I was a kid around 10 years old looking for a medieval game, so I google something like "Middle age war game" and stumbled on a picture of a siege battle of Stronghold 2. I was amazed by the siege towers, battering ram, ladders and the scenery. Downloaded the demo, and played it on repeat for 1 year until I had the money to buy the real game. Unfortunately, the latest releases of Stronghold are getting shittier.

Play this at my God damn funeral, milord. Not joking, this soundtrack means so much to me, I was a kid back when SH1 came out and it was one of my favourite games at the time.
