Dapol is pleased to be able to share images of the 1st shots of the Stroudley 4 wheel Coaches in this short video.
This is an extremely exciting project for us at Dapol as these coaches will be produced at our factory in Chirk in the UK. The 1st in this video are of the gas lit version of the coach. The 1st run of coaches will be of the oil lit version, the reason for this is explained in the video.

If I could buy an LBSC Terrier in improved engine green, prefer Box Hill, then these coaches would also be on my list to start me in O scale.

Very nice if a bit limited geographically, also hope the couplings are better than the standard Dapol ones where the links come off the captive part very easily.

I've pre-ordered my exclusive club trilogy - can''t wait to see them run behind my Dapol Terrier. Are they still due Q4 2020 (I'm hoping the fact they're being made in the UK will ensure they won' t be any delays inherrent with Chinese production)?

Hi Greg, I need to check back with the project engineer in question but i am not aware of any delays at this point. It is all dependant on when he is happy with any tooling mods he may asked for to be completed. Then we need to get the tooling delivered to Chirk. This is a very exciting project for us indeed with it been another UK production project.

Are you planning to do the coaches in southern railway livery for when they were on the Isle of Wight?

Other liveries will be produced yes, I am not currently sure what order they will be done in. We are currently concentrating on getting the first batch sorted out.
