Their more recent song "Cries of the Crusaders" is pretty great and underappreciated as well. Also they both did a great song with Adam Calhoun called "Climbing Mountains" that's worth a listen.
Caitlynne did a raw video of her hitting that high note in her kitchen just to prove to critics that she didn't use autotune.. She sounded amazing, and it gave me the reality check of how there's just this top tier of vocal ability/talent that you just have to be born with. Like what most people consider to be "good" singers, she's on another level above that, and makes those "good" singers seem like glorified karaoke singers. Lol It's like when you're a beginner/intermediate on guitar, and you watch someone who's on another level, and it simultaneously has you in "awe" and discourages you from playing the guitar because you know you can't get close to their level.
He's the grandson of Waylon Jennings. Technically step-grandson, but he grew up with Waylon being his grandfather. He did a remix in 2013 of Waylon's song "Outlaw Shxt" featuring Yelawolf (whose seen in the round brimmed hat in this music video). That's when I first discovered him, because I'm a fan of Waylon and that song. At the time, I checked the comment section of that video and discovered people commenting that he had just gotten sentenced to 5-ish years in prison for a huge drug bust. I was kinda bummed, because I'd just discovered him and loved the song. Fast forward years later, and I randomly rediscovered him doing a song called "Fall in the Fall" with Jelly Roll. I was shocked to see his transformation. He became fit, and sounded more gritty. He continued to do great songs with Jelly Roll, and has since done collabs with Adam Calhoun, Upchurch, and even a great one with Tom Macdonald and Upchurch called "Travellers." He really changed his life around. Was pretty amazing to witness the growth.
If this doesn’t move you and open your eyes, Nothing will. Truth is always looked down on those that are lost. Keep um all divided and they lose the unity that bought them together as a great nation. YOUR ENEMY IS REAL people! God is good, god is love.
Struggle Jennings, Born William Harness has a huge music background. He is the grandson of rock guartarist Duane Eddy, the grandson of country musician Jessi Colter, the Step-grandson of Waylon Jennings and nephew of Shooter Jennings
Yo bro I love this song. It’s so amazing and powerful. The lyrics are very touching and lots of emotion. The acoustic version is bad ass also there I say better than the studio version
God will use his warriors to kill the beast. That is you and me. Fear not death from this world for a new world awaits. The evil of this world must be killed off to save the people of this planet. To be afraid is to be a slave. God bless Struggle for putting the truth down! It needs to be said and he said it!
There's actually 2 different acoustic versions that were uploaded around the same time. The first one was uploaded on Struggle's channel. The second, and more viewed one, was uploaded on Country Rebel's channel. I prefer the sound of Struggle's delivery on the acoustic version on his channel. But I prefer the more raw sound of the song and Caitlynne on the acoustic version on Country Rebel's channel. I prefer this original recording over both of the acoustics though.
You can see the passion in his tone and expression it is the same feeling that rises in me when I see what this administration and society is trying to force on this country and I am ready to take up arms like those before us it is time for action we have talked for way to long . It is better to die for what is right , moral and truth then to bow to evil and lies.
If you want to do a deep dive on Struggle’s past I would start with Outlaw Shxt which features Yelawolf and his Grandpa Waylon Jennings. Then Black Curtains which was filmed in the county jail before he went to prison. World Moved On w/his uncle Shooter, Like Father Like Son. Then you get into the Waylon &Willie albums with Jellyroll. His songs with his daughter Brianna Harness Sunny Days, Things have changed, Bad Company and my favorite 4 generations of his family singing Ace In the Hole. There’s more but that will get you started.
Loved your common sense. I also hope you do a review on Tom Mcdonald and John Rich "End of the world". Really enjoyed this review. God Bless you and much love from a Great grandmother in WA. state.
Disturbed Sound of Silence, Struggle Jennings & Caitlynne Curtis // "God We Need You Now" , Struggle Jennings: Cry for Help. Stained: Something to remind you, Aaron Tippen: You gotta stand for something
Powerful lyrics. Harry Mack could use troubadour in a rhyme scheme, and he could do it on the spot freestyle. He has done harder rhyme schemes on his Omegle Bars videos.
@@bartonbagnes4605 that's not true at all though. I'll give him credit, he's witty, and very skillful. I wanna see if he can actually write a good song though, I doubt it, but I wanna see.
Dude! Love your comments but you need to quit commenting on every sentence. At least get through a paragraph and then comment. Sorry, you're kinda are ruining the song.
