Enjoying your content! Really great stuff. Around your comments about overlooking the Mongol's atrocities, I think two factors play a larger role than time past since the event highlighted by the difference in reception of the Japanese atrocities in WW2 as compared to Hitler's and Stalin's atrocities: First is there is a world wide bias that European and other western countries lives are worth more than eastern. This bias (at least on my end) is probably driven from western teachings and may not be the case worldwide. Secondly is the systematic nature of the atrocities. Whereas the Mongol's and Japan's were unfocused and widespread, Hitler's and Stalin's were focused and driven by the state. Obviously this is a complicated topic, but thought I would share my thoughts. Keep up the cool content!
