Not stopping when the flam or unison happens is huge. I used to stop and try again but not stopping is what gave me results.

In the 20 years of my double bass playing, I had struggled with technique. Starting with upper leg, then shin muscles. Finally about 6 years ago, I started working on the ankle technique. I try and mimic the open/close that my hands are doing. Lol ,damn the trials and tribulations.

guess this is exactly my problem. can't get rid of shin involvment on my left side.

hmmm, I need to figure out good pedal settings for me being a 300 pound drummer
