We are so blessed to have Fr. John in our life. I have known him for 33 years. He has taught us so much about the our holy church. If anyone has any questions about the Orthodox faith, he is the one to know. We have many knowledgeable priests and especially who understand the Orthodox teachings. Fr. John is a true gift. I thank God for him . I pray God will grant us many years to learn more from him.
This is an excellent offering! This "Sharing" by a "Senior Priest" should be offered to Seminarians and Wives. Opportunities, like this one, are rare, indeed. I will try to share this with those who may benefit from this. Personally, I love to listen to Our Priests who speak like this...from the Heart! Glory to Jesus Christ!

Menaion. One for each month of the year. Yes, a service book with services for each day of the year according to which saint (s) are celebrated on that day.
The menaion is the service books for every day of the year. (12 volumes, one for each month). Festal menaion would be for the major feasts of the year.
