When you guys were talking about "Life with no privacy" at the 57:00 mark, that is literally the definition of parasocial relationships. Random people will backseat the fuck of your relationship and think they know what's going on when the stream is not on but the reality is they don't and when you read the comments it gets really creepy / stalkerish. Seen this happen on Twitch too many times, it's like guys and girls can't co-exist online without people wanting them to date / be boyfriend and girlfriend.
Jimmy, please make your audio louder. Your intro/outro music is at a good volume, but once you get into the podcast, it's so hard to hear your voices a majority of the time whenever I'm listening from my laptop speakers. The audio on other podcasts that I watch like UTI's are loud & clear though, but once I get to the Down Bad show, I have to play the audio from my TV, bluetooth speakers, or put on some headphones. Lol
yall should get some rugs and soundproof foam for the walls to reduce the reverb and echo thru the mic Maybe also run the mics thru a equalizer type shi to better match the room tone
Seeing Jimmy from his early RU-vid days to now being a big brother to next gen content creators is so wholesome which is ironic since Jimmy's contents are anything but wholesome normally lmao
if you are going to become an internet personality, you have to adapt to the new behavior of just not giving a sh about what people say. Other than constructive criticism, you kind of have to deliberately and psychotically almost act blindsided to hate comments. Also, this interview might just be a PR stunt in itself. Most modern PR marketing teams secret is actually farming hate or engagement. Hate actually drives more engagement and longer duration for the audience to stay watching the video. While people think Hate is what you want to kind of distance yourself from, in reality in terms of marketing strategy, you need to maintain a good amount of controversial hate whilst keeping it controlled.
So comments like for example: "This breakup finna be crazy" "Heard they broke up. True?" "Yujin is a red flag" this engages audiences to not only keep coming back, but manipulate them into clicking more videos about their controversial topics. Keeps the viewers wanting to see something crazy happen, and thinking that an individual can really change their lives just by their words. This is what drives the popularity of streamers. The feel of power and control the individual spectator feels like he has over the streamers, the feeling that an individual can change the streamers reality.
sum bout yujin ion know jason needa get tf outta there lmao the way she just shits on him and outs his personal life is crazy the worst typa people to be around tbh like yea he’s not the same when he’s off stream 99 percent of steamers are like this there regular people but i guarantee if jason said some shi about her she would be crying victim like she did this whole pod
@@23920d i’m not even one of those people neither am i one of these parasocial niggas that follow this relationship but for any guy if i saw this i would know off the back she gives off a lil sociopath vibes she doesn’t care for his feelings or how he feels about certain things cry’s about her problems and then basically try’s shitting on his brand his viewers and all together it’s just not a good look for jason he shoulda have waited till he got bigger to get a girl hope it don’t fuck him over in the long run
@@dj.sobxrbe u can’t say ur not parasocial and then make numerous assumptions about their relationship. whatever u see on camera doesn’t tell u the whole story. can u at least elaborate on what u are accusing her of. not caring about his feelings? shitting on his brand and viewers? idek where u got those things from. felt like u just pulled out a bunch of random complaints from thin air.
@@23920d bro tf r u talking about 😂 y’all say someone making observations on a podcast is being a parasocial well i guess anyone who says anything on the internet is a parasocial ? i’m going off of social ques and the vibe of everyone in there i make a comment and i go about my day don’t spend anymore time on it lmao. i don’t know who she is i jus know she’s from his streams and that she has a shitty attitude 🤷♂️ if u need to find the answers to the shit ur asking me watch the pod over again or maybe u jus never been in a relationship and can’t see a red flag right away lmao peace ✌️
@@dj.sobxrbe ya bro I agree, I believe quite strongly breakup is going to happen, she be blaming men too like some radical feminist, and often talks about hating men like wtf? Even threatening him too, that neck grab she did made me hella uncomfortable and he looked uncomfortable too. I can tell this ain't going to go well, not because I follow her along or anything but know some red flags to look for and she hit multiple red flags and that is from this podcast. The way she argued the toilet suit was total non logical girl toxic drama thing, her whole demeaner, the constant taking stories of his personal life and dirtying out his laundry in public, no sense of privacy and respect, he goin get hurt
Yeah but it's that she's probably insinuating that she does, and that reddit was jumping to conclusions only from one thing. (She explained on stream why she was at the club)
I concur. I want my partner to be at the highest they can be. No life goals to me means you lack ambition, you just go with the flow, whatever God's Plan is, you're fine with it. Does that not sound like a Non-Playable Character in a video game? Be the main character of your own story. No one would watch a film or read a story of a character that has zero goals.
You should try to have on TenZ and Kyedae please! That episode would be pretty dope depending if they are down to be on the podcast (NO PUN INTENDED LOL)
I'm not streamer..I'm just a regular guy..But i don't ever care for negative thoughts..I know how life works..As you get older your partner is your main Love and Kindness
That stuff about streamer brain is just work mixing in with "normal life". I started saying "tot ziens" to family instead of "houdoe". The first one being a formal way of saying goodbye and the second is from like a way people say goodbye in a particular part of The Netherlands. I wouldn't know what the English equivalent is of a formal and informal bye.
i only just started the video but yujin looks absolutely bored with the conversation unless they ask her a question directly or if they’re talking about them as a couple
