Wow Bro!!! This hits home for me as I was watching in tears. I’ve been struggling this past year with. Loneliness is one of them. May look tough outside but crumbling inside. One of my way to release is to write songs. So I release them so if someone is going through some tough times, like you said “you’re not alone”. Thank you for those words!! I’m able to find comfort in your video. Thank you. One of the songs I wrote was titled, Loneliness. ❤

Music is everything, I have been recovering from body dysmorphia for years, everytime I had a negative thought I listened to Blue October, moving on, he's singing to his depression and anxiety, and he's a recovering addict, but the film clip shows all different fears from many other people, after a year anytime I started to have a negative thought, that song popped straight into my head. With it's upbeat and happy tune I had started to rewire my brain, nothing but music could do that. I raised 2 sons now 31 and 36, they cry, laugh, share emotions, they feel free to be humans, not just men, humans. Because that's what we are, I just checked your channel, 😊 it looks amazing, I'm going back to look more. Thank you ❤.

Such a coincidence. I was just thinking about how long I’ve been struggling with life in general. Like last night. My mental health has been in steady decline for years now. I have severe PTSD and depression. I live alone. I work and I come home. Period. I have no friends left. Everyone is dead. Everyone. The way I lived my life for the first half of it is the reason for my struggles now. I was a scumbag. I was a drug dealer. My ptsd is from being shot on three separate occasions. I don’t feel safe ANYWHERE. Not at home. Not at work. Never. It’s so stressful to be watching everyone’s hands when you’re out in public. I work at Home Depot, where people will walk up to you with an axe in one hand and a hammer in the other and that’s just normal. It’s super stressful. I don’t know how to fix it. I’ve been in therapy for YEARS. But I’m trying. Thanks for making this video and sorry for the long comment. Just hit close to home.

Man, when that deep depression hits, it’s hard to get out of bed let alone try to help somebody…. I suffer from a lot of PTSD issues and my furry buddies are my lifeline. The internet age sadly has us drawn to negative news. Although it's good to be informed, it does affect people including myself. Gratitude and appreciation for the good things in life can be swallowed up by our internal ruminating and focus. I love the forest setting. By the way, I'm 56 .. always had depression. Long term depression is hard to fix but .. is manageable. Videos like this are inspiring and thank you for recognizing peoples difficulties. @@hookinateacup It's more of a "Personal" sound. Akin to a gnat fart to external ears but an absolute ripper to the owner of the eyelids. If he is making weird noises you can hear,, it could be his jaw relaxing during REM this might indicate a full face mask requirement or a jaw opening restrictor. But yeah, just bits I picked up when finding out my CPAP settings.. A few drops of Albas oil (Eucalyptus) oil down the main air feed pipe is nice & a none oil base skin cream on the mask seal is good. That's a Hypoallergenic cream which doesn't irritate even if it's not wiped off. It just acts as a seal. :)

He’s had a machine for at least ten years and they’ve just swapped him over to a new one so I’m hoping it’s teething problems. Ingesting oils into your lungs can’t be good but I’ll investigate your other suggestions, thanks 😊

@@hookinateacup Ohh crikey no.! The only thing which should inhale oil is a two stroke petrol engine.. The eucalyptus oil is just a relaxing smell and decongestant ages 5+ it doesn't pool in the pipe or go anywhere ~5 drops thinly coats the pipe. Anyway that was just a suggestion for if he was having issues with dropping off but it sounds like he's over that stage for getting used to nodding off so.. Love the vlogging in nature vids 💯 Poignant video, my guy. Agree with all your points. We really are living in unprecedented times, though I will be quick to say that restless times have always existed and, yes, some are similar to what we're currently going through, but the biggest variable that changes everything today and makes these times truly unprecedented is the internet & accompanying tech. We are "Generation 0" when it comes to living with the internet & quick-access tech. That alone is a tremendous, but then add to it the events of the modern day and things become too much. Truth is: no one knows what to do. We're all in a thick fog and everyone is trying put themselves on a good path given the information they currently have, taking leaps into a road unknowable. Good luck out there, bros At least we have Thumper

Blessed be. Love you man. Never ever thought this crazy world would bring such a platform, and such wonderful folk in your discord community. Struggles come in every shape and size. Mine deal with mental health, race, queer identity, and all the things that transcend a neat label. I'm an odd duck. What's your "super power?" We ALL have one. I like to think mine is music. It is ephemeral, temporary and unquantifiable. It evaporates as quickly as it heals and changes souls. It is as worthless as it is essential. It makes people think and envision harmony and the greater good. It's a language as old as time, and it binds us to our ancestors from all cultures. I chose it as much as it chose me. AMOR VINCIT OMNIA!!

My Friend, I dont know exactly what inspired you to make a video of this nature, but having 'been there' myself years ago, I can tell that you have had an experience of a similar nature at some point in your life that left you with this incredible perspective. It truly is the little things, like a comforting video like this, and just letting others know that after all, we are all just People, working to find our way thru, so thank you sincerely for making this video. It reached me at the exact right time that I needed it. I got sober(finally), on 6/8/2020 and have not looked back. My personal sobriety journey, has taught me so much about thinking of others first. If anyone out there, is struggling, with anything, as was shared so well here, you are NOT alone, and there is always an option for help. And dont forget, you are so worth it. there is like this natural law over everything under the sun. everything comes in waves, day, night, birth, death, happiness- sadness. relying on happiness is like relying on motivation when trying to get in shape in the gym. the motivation passes and you stop going. the waves of happiness and sadness will beat you down to the ground. achieving and maintaining happiness is impossible and will only lead to frustration and pain. the only way to be is to find peace, and there is only one source of it. only one true way that can give you peace. im a firefighter and during a fire i broke my back. 5 vertebrae to be exact. ive now spent over 4 months not being able to do most things i enjoy. but at the same time im not happy or sad, i simply have peace. no worrying, no mental pain, just peace.

These are good words. I dont know what I'm supposed to do. It scares me. There are so many options. I go to the woods and beach to think and cry. Nature does not judge your tears. The seawall at the beach is always there for me, a cold stony shoulder to lean on, no matter the weather. The waves have no choice but to be my companion for a fleeting moment. How can you be alone when you hear water crash, when birds keep you company, when the wind speaks through the trees. Just give it another day, tomorrow waits. . Things will be better in time. I truly hope.

For those depressed with problems that can be changed, change them, for those still able to get out of bed, be grateful for a body that works, for those that can see difficulty as a temporary thing to get through, get through it. Do what you have to with what you have, talk, share, get support and advice for there are some of us who have none of that and would love to be in your shoes with the hope and chance of a better future. What's keeping me up at night is a very heavy worry. Our prime minister is a weak man, and Canada usually follows America's lead in most things. They're in the process of finalising a draft which would include disabled people. I just don't have the words to express my worries over this. I can't imagine my gentle son in a foreign land with a gun that was shoved into his hands. This is what's been keeping me up at nights. My disabled son being drafted into a war as meat for the grinder. He would mean nothing to them, he is everything to me.

There's also an ever present possibility of me being forced to fight in the war. I lost my dream job to economic sanctions. My family is in debt and is struggling month to month. My motivation has been incapacitated this entire time. I can't find a job, I can't force myself to keep looking and keep working on myself and my skills. Arthad. I‘m so sorry to hear this. But thank you for sharing your story so openly. It reminds of the stories my grandparents told me when they were in the war. I guess the only thing I can say is that humans are incredibly good at adapting to the most extreme situations. And that in all situations that are that extreme, there’s always a better situation waiting on the other end of it. Even you maybe can’t see it right now, there’s a light on the end of the tunnel. I think what you’re doing is exactly right. Try to improve your skills. Try to not dig yourself into a deep hole and just live from one day to the next. And if it’s any help, over on our discord we’re always there for you. We always ready to listen to you and give support. I genuinely wish you and your family all the best from the bottom of my heart. Great video, and I’m actually glad to hear something like this. You’re right, we all are going through it, and it helps to release some of the pent up feelings. I’m currently been feeling the weight of the political atmosphere as neighbors have recently hung a Trump flag. The fact that I’m in an interracial relationship, in a ‘red’ area, has me constantly thinking I need to be in a defensive posture/position. I’d like to add that, I have interacted with some really kind younger people(I just recently leveled up to 39) So I’m not all doom and gloom about my surrounding area. I guess I’m feeling positive in some ways, but still feel I need to be cautious just outside my front door. Hope everyone is doing well, loving, respecting and looking out for each other!

Thanks mate, that gave me a good boost before I go to sleep, I just started a new job (haven't worked for 5 years and I am getting old) and its has its challenges, but I needed this to adapt faster, thanks! I know there are people that need this more, but this helped me feel better where I am in life.

I'm a recent follower of yours: I started watching your UFO debunking videos (which I love) a month ago or so. This video is quite a surprise for me, and I'm just as surprised by me writing this comment instead of reading the other people's comments and passing by. I never talk about my problems, especially in public to strangers like in this occasion, but who knows, maybe it will help in some way. So, here's my thing: Since high school I have low self esteem; moreover, through the years I made a lot of friends, but progressively all of them left except for two. This situation led me to think that it's not worth to talk to new people, because sooner or later they would leave as well, and eventually I became a lonely and pessimist introvert that sees people as potential opportunists looking for a favor. I know it is not true and it's a toxic way of thinking, but I can't help it and this makes me see myself as a bad person. Despite my crumbling mental situation, however, I somehow manage to be kind to people, or at least not a douchebag, and that's the important thing. Last but not least, my depression (which is supposed because undiagnosed) makes me constantly feel that something bad is about to happen, so I'm constantly living in an unjustfied fear even if my life is actually quite peaceful.

Geeee, this bigfoot footage is soooo fake… Well… interesting input. Must have taken some courage to throw yourself on this one. And I humbly think you did good. I second most of your take on the madness and challenges of our time. Kindness does miracles. Been following you not since long, but this unexpected, unscripted, potentially tricky, and honest share, falls just right. So it feels just right to support your work, and the spirit you put in your channel. One more lunatic signing onboard your merry band ^^ Thanks for this brave and positive breather from the - so sadly - always faked footages. (though I’m planning to come at you with some challenging ones asap (from 80s/90s pre-CGI age)) ^^ Take care of yourself too sneezingmonkey, and thanks for the positive vibe. Cheers!

People have always been struggling. History of every country and its people is well documented. It is doubtful that mankind before industry and things many think nothing of now unless it suddenly is not working. That mankind wandering threw the forests or in any other place just looking for something to be able to eat was not struggling. Most parents who had kids had to struggle give things up. Change their lifestyle because they could not afford doing the many of the things they had been doing. Problem becomes the more you have. The harder it is to hold on to all of it. And if you can you just want more things which cost money you do not have.

I think that COVID did a number on society, that we're still getting out from under. I know me and my husband found it hard to un-isolate ourselves afterwards, and still haven't achieved the social life we had before 2020. Also, it's hard to feel positive and optimistic when the entire world seems to be struggling with authoritarianism and fascism.

I don't know if I quite have sleepless nights, but I my family fell apart fuck 7/8 years ago and it really broke me, I've been puttin (Writing, drawing, making music), but I find it very hard still to go back to that stuff and really dive into it the way I used to, and there is this sort of guilt / sadness eating away at me because people often told me I was really good at these things, so it feels like I'm wasting my talent, but at the same time I don't really believe anyone would care if I did commit to this stuff and I keep telling myself that ultimately it wouldn't be worthwhile anyway, and I can't tell if I believe that anymore or I'm just using it as an excuse to not try. It's tough.

I am definitely isolated after years with anxiety, struggles parenting children with health issues, then COVID and a car accident that has left me not wanting to leave the house and angry. I think there are a few things I need to be done to feel better and until then I can’t stop being angry, if that makes sense. What is even more annoying is that I was in therapy for my anxiety with driving and then this idiot nearly killed me and my Mum, then manhandled by ambulance crew, useless healthcare and Police make me feel like I have to fight for justice and prove that I am still in pain, it’s ridiculous. I always want a bubble around me, a certain space where people don’t get near me, like in shops but also when driving. So now this has happened, when I do leave the house I get wound up with anyone that is what I feel is an idiot that is too close. It’s hard to not feel like it doesn’t matter what I do, some idiot is going to make things harder for me. I know I need therapy, but when I went for that even the therapist, who I had told I don’t feel safe in the world, told me he was held at gunpoint. I resort to contacting people online because hopefully I’ll find the sort of people that aren’t idiots, who can make me laugh all from the comfort of my own home. And then I found this video. I do think a lot of people are idiots and definitely judge too much but I’ve got the survival instinct at least, Thank you. I appreciate you ❤

You’re a good man, TSM. A kind heart and emotionally intelligent head are the best kit for an amble through a woodland or life for that matter, imho. Two points, 1) Desiderata - some say a little cheesy but it’s along the lines of Kahlil Gibran’s Prophet. 2) “OMG, it’s a fat…rat…in a British forest (I paraphrase).” - Brother, with that wonderful accent ? you had me in total stitches. I hope YOU are ok. ‘Go placidly midst the noise and the haste..’ MR

@meanrhythm9048
@meanrhythm9048 10 дней назад
The rat is a tenacious beast. A fat one - doubly so- lol. Saw one at Victoria station in my youth I’m pretty sure I could have saddled and raced. The few remaining bits of unstructured forest & woodland certainly retain some of the hints of pre-druidic/Cunning-Man vibe about them (and Celtic as one heads north and west). There are sometimes still clues to be found if one is lucky. They are precious, especially so if one is within the orbit of London. Enjoy in peace. For the record, you had me at ‘Potato (camera)’ a while ago. I thought I had burst a kidney I laughed so hard. Laughter cuts through the mist. It’s pure mana. All the best.

If you made 10,000 USD per day since 1776, you still would not have 1 billion dollars. This puts into perspective the level of wealth inequality that exists. When there's several individuals that have hundreds of billions, AND PAY LITTLE TO NO TAXES; you really have to think "when is it time to stop being so nice"

@@Man-of-Steel674if you are young don’t give up. There’s a lot of good in a healthy relationship for your physical and mental wellbeing, look up the stats of how long married vs single men live for example.
