That's really what this is all about... Not going to Church, not tithing or giving to the poor, or any type of religion, or even being a good person... All that comes with Him; But really it's just, you and your Savior having this deep, intimate relationship with each other. And a relationship with your Heavenly Dad that, loves you in a way no one else could.

After I left Islam at 14 years old, I considered myself an Atheist for 7 years. During that time I experimented with different nonsensical beliefs like Buddhism and even New Age, but God saved me before I got in too deep (halleluyah). Now I'm 28, I've been a Christian for 7 years but I still find myself going back and forth between God and this stupid world. Social media plants doubts in my head and I keep struggling every minute of my life not to lose my faith again. Today I managed to start reading my Bible again, and I hope I won't stray from it again. If you're struggling, please know that you're not alone. And if my future self is reading this and watching this video again: Please don't forget how far God has brought you and how many times He welcomed you back with open arms. No matter how guilty you feel, He's always been there and He WILL always be there. Stay strong and turn to Him, you need not feel ashamed.
You speak facts. Social media does the same thing to me. It plants doubts in my head about whether God is real or not, but I must stay away from it. Was on my knees last night telling God about how low and rotten I feel. Each time I sin it’s harder to go back to him, especially when I’ve asked for forgiveness from the same sin countless times. I’ve turned my back on him more times than I can count and I know my walk with him has been rocky for a while now. I truly believe this video was personally sent to me from God. Even in the times I feel like the most sinful man in the world, He never leaves. Lord, please walk with me, help me to fix and change the things I can, and please take the things that I can’t. May we all be reminded that faith isn’t a feeling, and that feelings are temporary and fleeting. May all of our faith’s flourish, and may we all have more and more communion with you, the lover of our souls. In Jesus’ name, amen.

It's like a everything in live, sometimes you 1. have to decide to plant a seed. 2. you have to pour water over it day by day without results. 3. "Wow, there is something" 4. You get a strong tribe which has taken roots 5. It starts to get stronger and more beautiful 6. You can see some small fruits coming out of your wonderful work, patience and believe 7. Congrats you are getting all the sweet fruits of your effort! But at that point you already fell in love with the relationship and holding that tree alive, you get tons of rewards but they are not the focus anymore. @@chokispokis Thanks for asking. She believes in God as we read the Bible, pray frequently and talk about Him often. Like everyone she struggles with faith at times, thinking He may do miracles, just not for me. Her struggle is more with the world, and she doesn’t understand why people do what they do, and she can be socially awkward which people respond in a way that makes her feel alone. I explain to her that God is our constant. That Jesus died for each one of us, and that in Heaven we will be so full of bliss and joy 24/7….for eternity…and that God loves her more than we can fathom. That makes her feel good, because she is so lonely in this world (outside of her family life.) Hope my explanation makes sense.

No clue if the months passing by have aided you, but I pray it has. I pray you walk with God, and that you don't need to be better to go to God. God wants you to go to him, no doubt! Whatever sin, repent. Believe in Christ Jesus as God - The Father and Spirit will be known to you if you believe in Christ as Lord. Whatever worry, give to him. The answers may not be clear on where you go from here, but nonetheless, God will show you.
I'm glad faith isn't based on feelings, I always feel left out in church seeing everyone around me expressing so much emotion. I sometimes wonder if I'm just fooling myself thinking I'm really a Christian. Though I have faith that I am, because when I try to witness to people and they don't listen or change; I realize I take for granted that I know and believe. I am reminded that I was drawn to God by his spirit, and I don't have to depend on feelings to confirm that. I don't want to think that others are only based on feelings only, but I can be sure that my feelings will not pull me away from God if those feelings are not what I rely on in the first place. I sometimes would just want to feel what comes with fellowship with other believers, because sometimes I feel like I really lack that, even when I'm in church. I need others to pray that I'll find that fellowship or at least be content with what I already have.
I get the same way at times, God has a plan for us all and I trust in that because I know I’ve already made the choice to say yes to Him. I’m also looking for fellowship with other believers and still don’t even have a church I’m attending, but I know God will help me find one. For the past two days I’ve been feeling so far from God. I backslid into past sins he has delivered me from. I’ve been ashamed but been trying to get back up. I’ve been praying for Him to change my heart posture and to bring me back to him. To send me anything that will help me out and this video popped up. Started to tear up…God is always listening and loves you.

Im struggling with faith constantly. Sometimes it feels like I just desperately want to believe but my heart is not there, sometimes I feel like an impostor. Sometimes when I go to church for mass, it feels like I don’t belong there. I just got back into Christianity like 2 years ago and sometimes when I talk to people who stayed with the church I feel like I can’t relate to them and they can’t relate to me. They’ve just never had those same doubts and questions that I have. I just feel like I’m scamming myself sometimes and that I don’t belong. And it’s hard to unite the beliefs of Christianity with my other beliefs. I just feel lost and out of place
I know how it feels. In one word, deeply discouraging. Learn from the Saints and from Scriptures first, yet keep your hearth and ears always open. Sieve all and keep that Wich is proven. Ask for discernment and always trust the Lord and our Lady more than you would trusth yourself. Let the Lord be thy intelligence and light. To the others you give first instead of taking. Deep Doubts are a singular cross to carry, as well as to be lonely amidst a multitude. But consider well: if no one understands the hearth, the Lord does. Talk to Him and things will happen. Every sorrow is an opportunity at hand. Yet who knows the ways of the Lord? Be ready, therefore. God bless.

It's easy. Just turn your brain off and believe whatever thia guy says. You'll feel much better. The truth is seldom comforting. That is why it is so impopular. I know I would very much prefer to believe everything will turn out OK in the end. The problem is that there is no sane reason to believe that.
My deconversion was very painful. When I finally accepted that there was no after life or God I was devastated. My first thought was "I will never see my Dad again". Heartbreaking. However, there was an upside I had not anticipated. I no longer expend energy trying to convince myself of something that makes no sense. The drop in cognitive dissonance has reduced my anxiety dramatically. I have a much healthier attitude toward life and death as an atheist than I did as a Christian. I came to know Christ in jail in 2013 by reading a book, "Overcoming spiritual blindness" by James P. Gills MD. The veil was taken off my eyes. Heaven came through for me in my finances too, getting $25,000 monthly. I can support God's work and give back to my community. God is absolutely more than enough!

Once I sent an Email to Beggar saying all I was feeling about my faith on that time. It was hard because I had doubts, but writing that helped me a bit. I didn't give up and I think that my faith is stronger now. Wow. One thing I notice is that I am really affected (in a positive, spirit-opening kind of way) by your graphic representations of God and God's love. Maybe the images are a reminder of something I deeply know but routinely somehow forget. Being a forgetful human can be...a bit frustrating. I appreciate all the ways that God finds (one being through these videos) to help each of us remember how to get closer. Thank you for the beautiful/powerful work you put into the world. (and for what it's worth, I personally think these videos are the opposite of "screwing it up")

I’ve seen this video on my home page for a couple of days now- kept ignoring it because I’ve been feeling guilty that I question God’s presence in my life. Finally clicked on it because it seemed like He kept presenting the opportunity and wow. This cleared up so much for me and it’s so good to know that I don’t have to feel that overwhelming happiness I felt in the beginning of my walk all of the time. Needless to say, this left me feeling disheartened, frustrated, confused and lost. This video gives me a more realistic idea of how to cultivate, and sustain faith.
God works in such marvelous ways! I've had a relationship with God since 2012 and have only within the last 5 months started learning about Jesus and became a Christian. I've been feeling like a fraud because I don't feel the presence of Jesus like I do with God and have been trying to figure out how to fix that. This morning as soon as I woke up, lying in bed, I realized that I love Jesus anyway, and maybe I will begin to feel His presence in my life like I do with the Father, or maybe not. And if not, that's okay because I still love Him and I know that He is always with me regardless. A few hours after this realization, I find this video and you say exactly the same thing! This is JUST what I needed and I'm so grateful! Thank you, and praise God!

I was agnostic for about 10-11 years, and after turning my back on god, going through so much and finding who i am again, and then realizing it was all god. I feel like the faith I give him is half-baked since I turned my back on him. Sure I follow the teachings now, and I pursue the action to make my world and the world around me better through the goodness and kindness I have learned through my journey/battles. How do I feel like I'm giving god 100% of me again? It just feels fake if I give god everything since I turned my back on him. I cant really put it into words, I hope someone understands.
Hello my dear sibling, have you confessed the things you didnt gave to him 100% at the time you turned from him? Because even if we wanna start changing this, without confessing there will always be this unspoken invisble wall like in an interpersonal relationship.
I think you have come to realize that forginess is something far more deep reaching than simply forgetting. God's goodness is beyond human full apprehension. The simplest proof of that is that He can forgive. We, on our own turn, are unforgiving. Forgiveness is life bringing and life changing. And that is a miracle. Ask for that miracle and see what happens. Only get yourself ready, for it may be though, very though.
I really need prayer. I really need this video right now. I'm very much struggling with my faith, and trust in God, and in life in general at the moment. In fact, I feel very Atheistic currently. As if he doesn't exist or even care at all. I don't have the joy people say that come with being a Christian. And more so, lately I've had raging hate and resentment toward God and a few select others...all for good reasons. Yes, I struggle with faith right now and I don't need people telling me the generic answers that I already know. (Read the bible, pray, spend time with God, blah blah blah). I need God's intervention and real help. I need real unjudgemental, unconditional loving humans from the hand of God. And prayer. This note is my cry for help and my prayer. I'm now going to watch the video. May God transform me to his image and show me love.

And what happens if you face that crisis, though? Just what is it you think happens if you don't have religious faith? There is a feeling of emptiness. Then, tremendous relief. Then, growing anger about having been fooled for so long.

I deal with ocd terrible illness and i feel like giving up . Like why did i go from being fine and happy no mental health issues to this…. Also ive had ppl say its a demon and that response just annoys me. What did doo to deserve this
Thats interesting, I also have ocd but for me it was practically cure after finding Christ. I had rituals and if i didnt do them i thought something bad would happen and after i realized the God is real all these things I gave to him my fears and anxieties, try not doing a ritual one time if thats what you have (I usually had going in and out of rooms, washing hands, in and out of shower, doors, etc numbers: 2 3 4 6 8 9 10 12 and yeah) but basically if you just accept that Gods protecting you and you stop doing a certain ritual it slowly stops affecting you, God bless you.
I am very sorry about your affliction. My one piece of advice is to know that God is always good. In the book of Job, Job was a man of God but still had a LOT of bad stuff happen to him. There are many obstacles set in front of us, but there is not one that is set in front of us that God does not *allow* to be set in front of us. He loves us, He loves YOU, and He will humble us in the most wonderful of ways. I will pray for you. (Also, it is not possible for a believer to be demon possessed, I cannot explain it well, but I wouldn't doubt there's a bunch of videos out there that explain it well.)

I’ve been a Roman Catholic all my life. I’ve always believed. There was one experience that has always stuck with me, a clear showcase of God showing me His grace. I was at a XCountry meet, and I was told that I was supposed to follow the arrows through the forest path. What I didn’t know is that there were 2 arrow colors, and I followed the wrong path that was there for an upcoming High School meet (I was in middle school at the time). I was scared. I couldn’t see anyone. Off in the distance I heard cheers as the fastest were finishing. Usually there were a couple people I’d be around. But I was alone. Again, I was scared. So I prayed, and prayed hard. And after a minute or so, a couple runners came up from behind me, and showed me a way through the forest that spit me out right back on the Middle School track. And right as they left a couple of runners that I knew came up behind me and we ran and talked all the way to the finish. This was the most powerful experience I ever had, as there was no other explanation, it was all too perfect. TLDR: I experienced God in a XCountry meet where I put all my faith in him, to help me when I needed him most.

To all of the Christians out there, I just want to say this - I used to struggle also when I was a Christian. I was scared to admit my doubts, to others and even to myself. I was scared I might offend god if I admitted I thought some of the Bible didn’t make sense or sounded weird. Or just didn’t look divine. I struggled because I felt ashamed of sin. I remember that struggle. A few years ago I admitted to myself I didn’t think the Bible was a divine book, but entirely man made. Since then, I haven’t “struggled” with existential questions. I’m intrigued, I wonder in awe, but I do not struggle. I’m inspired. I just want y’all to know I remember the pain of struggling to maintain faith and I don’t want y’all to think you owe the Bible or Christianity anything. If there’s any part that doesn’t make sense, be strong and admit it to yourself and others
We don’t owe the Bible anything, we owe Jesus everything. That is the main difference between a religion and relationship with Jesus. I understand your concerns, and I felt the same way for a long time, seeing the Bible as a rule book and a judgement object. Seeing parts I didn’t understand and not liking them simply because they sounded weird or I didn’t agree. But I went the other way, and I found the lord Jesus and stopped being lukewarm, because i understand why and how the things in the Bible were written after a while of studying it. Christians be strong in your faith, study it, even the parts that don’t make sense at that time, and your faith will grow, because you will grow with Jesus
It sounds like you had alot of fear instilled in you of an early age, but that’s not the god I know. It’s not in God’s nature to be offended he doesn’t get mad if people ask questions in pursuit of the truth. Yes we struggle with sin and we may stumble but the battle has already been won. It’s not through our actions we get to heaven but only through the grace and mercy gifted to us by Jesus Christ. Anyone telling you otherwise is preaching a works based salvation. And dont look at the church for the standard but look at Jesus Christ because he is the standard. Man is fallible but Jesus Christ is infallible. Lastly, early on in my walk with the lord I too had doubts regarding the integrity of his word but through supernatural experiences I realized that the way god speaks in the Bible is the way he speaks now and the way that demons act in the Bible is the way they act now. These 2 revelations is what confirmed it for me that the Bible really is the word of god. Even if I may disagree or come across something I don’t understand I face it head on because through these past 2 years I have come to know it to be true, time and time again.

After all, there no single beliefs system in the world that a majority of people adhere to - so, by definition, most people's beliefs are wrong, no matter who turns out to be right (spoiler: it's me. I am right. 😊 ). But if most people's beliefs are wrong, how is it that you are sure you are right? Adversely: can you be wrong?
Before I finished the thought of me going into prayer and fasting because I want to get closer to God as I was scrolling my phone I saw this greeted me. I am certain that this is what the Holy Spirit desires of me.
Is there any way you can cover a topic like heartbreak? How it affects your relationship with God, and how to overcome it, I’ve been very down recently, not having any aim in life due to finding out my ex is seeing someone new so quick, I would really love a video regarding that topic, just an idea :)
